We felt very welcome at Tirta Arum. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but cosy and clean. The pool has an amazing view and is perfect to chill and enjoy the day. Also the area is quiet and so we really been able to chill there.

The breakfast was included but for vegans there is a very limited variety.

We arrived really late . A group of 11 people. They were able to get us 3 cars from the airport to the hotel. This is a family owned property, and after a busy trip and even busier road, we arrived in a little oasis of peace. Our chauffeur Adi, who lives there with his family, was an amazing help and guide. The next day, he had a trip itinerary built with all the things we wanted to do in a short time. We had 3 nights. 2 full days. He was able to arrange a bus to take us all to different places, on very short notice. He also arranged transfer to our next destination.... still in a bus but sending our luggage ahead. His English is excellent and he recommended really good and affordable restaurants. His mother in law was in charge of our breakfast and was very attentive to our needs. The place is manicured to perfection , the beds are massive. We were in 2 rooms and our friends in villas. Each room and villas had that sense of privacy. Because it is a little of the busy main street of Ubud , it is quiet and peaceful at night. Adi will accommodate your transport, and drop you off and pick you up when need it. We all loved the sense of belonging that his family gave us and can only warmly recommend him and this amazing place. We will definitely go back there if we come back to Ubud.

We had the private villa and it was amazing! There were two rooms and two bathrooms and a connecting lounge. Everything was so clean! Breakfast was brought to the room each morning at a time we selected. It was more than enough and so tasty! The family who run it are so nice and were so helpful! They have a shuttle to Ubud central that you can take back and forth! There are warungs and a couple massage places nearby as well!

Great location. The staff at Tirta Arum were amazing the head chef is a lovely lady and really caring, made us feel like we were home. The owners dog, Bingo is amazing! Greeted us upon our arrival and said hello whenever he could! Agung was the best! He was super patient and kind! Showed us around the surrounding waterfalls and rice fields. He was also very keen to help us whenever we needed him, amazing young man!

The staff was absolutely welcoming and friendly, extra helpful as well (helped me iron my really wrinkled dress). They provided a floating breakfast free of charge upon request. Room was absolutely spotless and staff would call to ask if they could clean daily. Water would be refilled daily. Staff offer suggestions for touristy activities, but give great alternatives to over-priced venues. While booking, the staff would reach out while I was still in Kenya to thank me for booking and also offer day tour packages, which I appreciated. The hotel is absolutely tranquil. Would absolutely book a stay again when in Ubud!

Great little hotel with pool villas and a communal pool. The views of endless palm trees is beautiful from the pool. The beds and pillows are super comfy. The villa has 2 bedrooms, shower and bath each and a living room in between. The breakfast is also plentiful and yummy. We had eggs, toast, fruit, pastries, tea/coffee and fresh juice. The staff are wonderful as are all people in Bali!

They had a big black dog who would walk around the reception and restaurant area which i didn't like as I don't like dogs. But he seemed harmless

Absolutely amazing villa. The pool villas have 2 separate bedrooms + 1 living room. Each rooms with a 180 bed and amazing bathrooms. Staff is execellent and breakfast as well. Location is close to centrer however you need a taxi ride that cost 100k rupee. With their roads and traffic is hard to walk to the center but they do have a free shuttle service in the morning and evening or if outside of these hours they have car available. Massage can be arranged on site which was great. Highly recommend.

Lovely family run property. You feel really taken care of by everyone and they get to know you. Breakfast is a la carte but great and freshly made. The pool is the highlight and the floating breakfast was so enjoyable. They also have private tours/driver and car hire you can book which were better value for money than anything else we found online. Location is perfect. Either a 15 min walk into town, or 5 mins in their shuttle car service. Would highly recommend staying here!

Bring bug spray! As with most places in Ubud the rooms do have a few mosquitos

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool villa was lovely. Reasonably short walk into Ubud although they also offer a free shuttle. They kindly offered their taxi service for my airport transfer even after I’d checked out but unfortunately it didn’t work out due to crossed wires and changing flight times.

Only a couple of minor suggestions/requests - instructions on how to call reception from the in-room phone would be helpful and I would have loved some bubble bath for the bath (as well as a small table next to the bath and some shelving or bench in the shower to hold toiletries etc).

The staff is very nice and they go above and beyond to fulfill your needs! The pool area was also amazing and the room very clean! I would definitely return back to Tirta Arum! Had a wonderful stay there! They also prepared a piece of cake for my husband’s birthday which I think was very cute and kind of them! Thank you so much for everything! Hope to see you all again someday ❤️
