Junjungan hotel was absolutely amazing. The view from the room of the rice fields were stunning and started the day off right each time. The breakfast at this hotel was soooo good. The fried rice and banana pancakes were delicious. The staff was so accommodating and professional it made for an amazing first experience to Bali. The front desk, house keeping, and the entire staff were so kind such a loving and beautiful staff. I will highly recommend this hotel to all my friends back home, and I will definitely be returning again here soon. The location of this hotel is not far from the rice fields and is a short drive to other locations. Cafes and food options are in walking distance as well. My stay here was perfect thanks you for everything Junjungan.

I loved everything about this hotel.

As a solo traveler, I was looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay. After spending a month here, I extended for another—it truly felt like home. The staff was incredibly kind, treating me like family. Every morning, they brought me coffee on the terrace so I could enjoy the stunning view of the rice fields. The location is peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery, yet even during the rainy season, there were no mosquitoes or bugs. The free shuttle service was a great help, taking me to the town center and sometimes even to nearby towns. I especially loved the cozy alcove above the bed, which blocked the direct cold air from the AC—keeping the room cool all night without sleeping directly under it. And their food? Absolutely delicious! Make sure to try the traditional Indonesian dishes.

Large Room overlooking rice field. Felt quite rustic which I liked. Suited me being away from main town. Shuttle service to and from Ubud used a couple of times. There were restaurants nearby if you don’t mind walking in the road. Ate one night at the hotel. All good

Only very minor but having to a pre-order breakfast the night before from a specific set-menu but quite a few options. Prefer buffet option but not a deal breaker

Junjungan is located at a great spot in Ubud, slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the center but easily accessible thanks to the free shuttle the hotel provides. Our room overlooked scenic fields and was large and comfortable with a four poster bed. The staff are extremely kind and friendly and are always just a call away. Overall great value and we loved our stay here.

Our hotel room overlooked the rice fields, and the views from the balcony as the sun was setting was absolutely stunning. The staff were attentive and our requests were all met including for car and trip bookings. We made our own itinerary for a trip to the north part of Bali and they had a driver ready to take us. The free minivan into the centre of Ubud was quick and they dropped us off and collected us when we wanted. The breakfasts were excellent.

Only little things. Their eftpos machine didn’t work when we went to pay for the hotel.

The hotel oozes Balinese charm; beautiful with large rooms and the kindest, most caring staff you could hope for. Food and service are exemplary and we took advantage of the complementary shuttle service in to the centre of Ubud and back at night. On the last night we had a dripping AC unit and the staff could not have done more to help us - beautiful hotel; beautiful staff.

It is tough to moan when so much has gone well - so I do this only for the benefit of future future guests: the hotel is on a straight piece of road, where drivers can finally put their foot on the pedal so the road noise can be challenging (make sure you take earplugs). Wi-fi is also patchy.

I was travelling with my daughter and stayed for a week in this lovely hotel. Unfortunately I fell and when the manager saw my cut knee she couldn't do enough for me. She cleaned it, got me ice and organised the doctor visit. Everyday after, her and her amazing staff would ask how I was. Their attention kindness and empathy I have never experienced anywhere else. I really appreciate it. That's the best feature of this hotel. The incredible staff. They help you out with anything you need and always with a smile. The surrounding area is so beautiful, rice paddies to look out on from your balcony is so relaxing. We had a really lovely time. Thank you so much from Ella and Brona.

We loved everything

The room is very spacious and pretty. Staffs are super helpful and friendly. They are always to offer help whenever needed. I didn't expect a free daily shuttle to Ubud downtown - this definitely went beyond my expectation. Breakfast is great, too! I love this hotel and hope to come back with my friends or family in the near future.
