Casa Mallet exceeded our expectations. We were enchanted by the charming and harmonious decoration. The rooms were very comfortable, with high quality and cozy pillows and cushions. The kitchen is well equipped, the house has a washing machine and dryer. Moments on the balcony for a coffee or wine were highlights. The location is excellent, close to everything, safe, and our check in was very well organized. The team was very attentive, making recommendations and always responding to our messages quickly. I highly recommend it and if I ever return to Panama I will certainly try to stay in the same place. You can book without fear.

a bread knife would be useful in the kitchen. And it would be great if they had some cleaning items, such as a broom, squeegee and cloths. The bathroom gets wet when we shower and we didn´t have anything to clean.

Location is perfect close to restaurants and bars and felt safe at all times. Loved the old town feel and lots to see in the area or use as a base for tours

Check in process was little confusing, no reception on site and was initially hard to contact when I didn’t have the key codes to enter building but then everything was great

We had a great experience. The apartment was incredible; beautiful, spacious, and well-appointed. On our first night, the A/C was broken so we got a free upgrade to the bigger apartment for one night, and it was even more impressive. May (sorry if I've spelled your name wrong!) was great, very informative and always happy to help. The apartment is in a great location in Casco Viejo, which meant we could walk everywhere unless we wanted to travel further afield.

The address on Google maps isn't quite right. It's actually across the street and up a block, on Avenida A between 6a and 5a (rather than on calle 5a). We found it in the end, but it just added a little confusion when arriving. Thankfully, it does say Casa Mallet on the wall so it's not hidden. While the apartment is decorated beautifully, you might want to consider this if you have small children. There is lots for them to get a hold of. In the end, it was fine, but I was worried they were going to break something (but that might just be my kids!).

The apartment is very charming inside and out! It is spacious and the wrap-around balcony is awesome. I enjoyed my coffee here in the mornings. It is modern and clean with a full size fridge with water and ice, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer- really well equipped and very organized. The property manager, May, works very hard to make sure we have what we need and we are happy. She is an asset to this property. It is great to be in Casco Viejo and I am glad we chose to stay here rather than downtown. Over all this was a great place, really spacious and well maintained with great customer service and I would recommend it to anyone!

The only suggestions I would make are: - there needs to be more hooks or places to hang wet towels and/or toiletry bags in the bathrooms - I am impressed how they work hard to keep all the common areas clean but please use more water and less chemicals. The smell of the cleaning products is SO overwhelming and intense. - please have a knife sharpener available to use. The chef's knife and paring knife were both too dull to cut well. - keep in mind it is on a noisy street - really, it is just noisy everywhere in and around Panama City and Casco Viejo. The back bedroom was quiet but the rest of the apartment can be noisy. Drivers really like to use their horns and it's just a noisy city.

It was my second stay at this apartment. We love the location - the place is close to nice shops, touristic attractions, and great restaurants. The building is quite, secure, and clean. The apartment has nice furniture and decoration, high quality bed and bedding, attractive and clean bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped. Gorgeous wrap around balcony with beautiful views. You receive access codes by text and you can access the apartment very easily.

The dishes on the cabinet were not cleaned properly. Very thin and flimsy trash bags and only found 1 trash bag. The place needs some dusting in general. I think the problem is that one cleaning person does not have enough time to clean the apartment before check-in time. The elevator was broken for the entire weekend and it was challenging for my father who has a heart condition - we were not notified that the elevator was not going to be fixed for the entire weekend. We checked in on a Saturday and checked out on Monday.

We spent 2 nights in the property ideally located in casco viejo in Panama - close of everything but in a quieter area which makes it perfect location. The apartment was spotless, decorated with a lot of taste and with very comfortable beddings all Material are high quality which makes it high standard in my opinion. The team of casa mallet is very responsive via what’s app and available for any questions I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Panamà Thanks again for everything

Not much to say - all was good

Centrally located, clear beautiful property. I’m ashamed to say I don’t remember the ladies name at the front desk. She was amazing. If she wasn’t at the front desk she responded to every text within minutes 24 hours a day. I can’t say enough about her. She is amazing.

Location was unbeatable. The place was large and the balcony was lovely. The doorman was super friendly and helpful. The place was pretty clean.

Only two complimentary coffee pods and one bottled water. The shower in master bedroom overflowed out into the bathroom and the rug in there was old and dirty.

Casa Mallet was a beautiful, newly renovated property. The location is perfect for exploring on foot Casco. Each couple had their own beautifully appointed bedroom and bath. Kitchen was well stocked. Having an elevator made it easy with the luggage.

This is our second stay at Casa Mallet. The property is fresh, newly renovated and well appointed. Centrally located for everything in Casco Viejo. May is always there to get you settled in and to assist in any way.
