It is suitable for nature lovers, the beach, the private pool and the swimming pools are nice. By the way, the equipments and facilities are quite old but clean, the staff is thoughtful, it was raining in the morning when we stayed, the staff put the umbrella outside the villa, it is impressive. Overall, we stayed here and went to other beach to see the green turtles hatch and put the baby turtles into the ocean, it was a wonderful holiday here.

The lights are a bit too dark, it’s hard to reading books, and there are too mosquitoes to my family.

We love the scenery at the property nearby the beach and the ocean…. The villa unit is cozy enough for our family with the private pool for the kids to enjoy…

There were frog inside the units (out nite watching tv were disturbed by a visiting frog to the unit)….. termite could be seen starting to infest in some part of the villa… The private pool- curb on side of the pool need to be smoothen … (kids easily get body scratched every time they lean on the pool sides)

The surroundings were tranquil and relaxing - you can hear the seabreeze. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool in our villa was just the right size for us, and with trees around, you feel like you're in a private area, surrounded by nature. Sunrise was magical. We drove, so we felt the location was easy distance to restaurants and activities we wanted to do.

We do live in the tropics, so bring anti-mosquito spray and mind the sandflies. Not a huge bother if you're prepared. We'd still recommend this place.

Beautiful houses, some with a small private pool. There was also a nice large swimming pool and a very large children's pool with water slides.

We had to ask for an extra bed for our son, although we had reserved for 3 people. When we were there it was extremely quiet in the hotel, there were almost no other guests. The food varied in quality (hot pot was good, nasi was not). On the beach there are a lot of sand flies that bite, but of course the hotel can't do anything about that.

Nice Location by the beach. The pool was nice and big. The chalets were quaint. The beds were comfortable. A nice touch offering a welcome drink and fries in the room. There was special parking.

The condition of the room could have been better. Some parts of the wooden flooring had broken. A few of the light and electricity points were unserviceable. The bath tub had cracked. There were a lot of mosquitos.

After reading some of the reviews I was worried about staying but our two families had a great time.The villas were very clean and although the bathroom was rather dated everything worked.The beds were very comfortable and the plunge/pool was fantastic.The main swimming pool area was brand new and absolutely fabulous.The beach cafe provided a good breakfast.Also Tiger beer available all day at the nice pool bar although it was a rather pricey 19RM

The beach cafe could be fantastic and the chef is a lovely guy and can obviously cook (the malaysian chicken at breakfast was amazing!).However for the rest of the day the menu is limited and the price is high.Also as we were in Cherating at the start of the week there was virtually nothing else open!!!!

Superb patio view with the private pool. Also, the staff over there really friendly and helpful. There's a special parking for each villa house, so no hustle to find a parking.

We came on monsoon season, so we're not be able to witness the true 'color' of the beach & sea. The weather all day gloomy. Anyway, this was not the hotel to be blame😁

Nice place, has a real feel of a beach resort, short walk to the beach, our 2bedroom villa has a private pool as well as an allocated carpark. Amenities was good especially the bath towels was clean and pool/beach towels was provided for us too! Each and everyone of the staff's was very helpful and friendly, from the sweeper, cleaners, technicians, front office and others...which made us feel very welcoming and excellent service provided👍🏼👍🏾👍🏿 Thank you, we had fun and enjoyed our stay here! Keep it up💪🏻💪🏽💪🏿

Though the greens has matured with the resorts, we loved it but some room facilities does require some upgrades/consistent maintenance especially the bathtub, the towel hangers and would be good if there is a mobile hairdryer in the twin bedded room too instead of having to run over to the other room to use the mounted hairdryer!

I really enjoyed my stay at Vi Villa Cherating. The environment is peaceful and beautiful. The facilities are great, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I love the relaxing suasana. A nice place for a short getaway!

Some other facilities are old and not cleaned properly. Hope they can improve that.

Friendly staff, quite room villa near to beach, got a very big tv with youtube and netflix, my 2 years sons can have something too enjoy. Bellboy helpful too. Anyways it is a professional team working here. Common swimming pool look so clean. Good job.

Front desk staff always not at the counter, need to ring the bell. I travel a lot for works, I rarely seen a 3-5 stars hotel the front desk staff are always missing. Breakfast food for nasi goreng is not good, too salty and spicy. Better make nasi lemak. I know its very difficult to maintain pool away from the dried leafs, but please clean the debris inside the private pool more often.
