The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The room was large, comfortable and very clean. The hotel had a charm to it that you don’t get in chain hotels. You can see there is a lot of history in the building. The terrace/garden was well laid out and comfortable with easy access. The location was fantastic and central for sightseeing and general tourist things.

Breakfast was lovely, staff were lovely and the place is just really cosy and comfortable with a lovely little courtyard. I felt safe, comfortable - a home from home.

Not a negative but a suggestion - I wasn't asked if I wanted to make reservations for dinner when I checked in. If I had been asked I may have booked. Missed sale

Although the hotel was, somewhat, dated with furnishings past their best I still enjoyed a comfortable stay. The bedroom was well heated, too.

One of the cupboard doors was hanging from its hinges and it was difficult to open the locks to both my bedroom door and to the outdoor security gate. These really should receive attention.

Room was fab, I struggle with sleeping on mattresses and with decent pillows and I can tell you I slept like a baby. Attached to a great public house the staff are brilliant

The full English breakfast was spot on. Plenty of clean towells and lovely bedding. The carvery looked good but we went elsewhere for dinner. Overall, worth the £70 for the 3 of us.

The water pressure wasnt great so the toilet didnt flush properly and the shower was much too hot, which you couldnt change. They did warn you in the blurb though. We had a front bedroom. So with the old sash windows and the property right on the road, the traffic did keep waking us up.

The hotel is right in the centre of Langport, staff were very friendly and the room was quite large

Our room was at the front of the hotel so it was very noisy with the traffic and it could have done with a blackout blind or curtains, the windows are very big and the curtains didn't stop any light coming in at all

Close to shops, food outlets and they did a lovely carvery Thursday night when I was there 😋 room and bathroom were good and clean, the shower was excellent though the hot water was a little tricky to get just right.

The room could do with a little fridge

we were to arrive late and were accommodated with late arrival guidance. room was a great size.

the road outside was very loud. fried breakfast could have been bigger for the price.

Very good, pleased with our stay. The beds are really comfortable and the hotel staff excellent. Not the poshest hotel, but one of the best. Thanks, come back every August to meet up with family, great place to stay.

Older style coaching hotel, in a historic town. We stayed in our way to Bath, to meet our daughter. Wished we had the day to explore the town. Will be back.

No shower, just a bath in our room.
