The accommodation was top-rate and very clean with the equipment required. The view of the millpond from the patio doors at the front was beautiful, not to mention all the nature that we saw around there, including a Kingfisher. The owners allow everyone to walk around their estate of 7 acres with ponds and bridges, an orchard, goats and sheep, woodland, formal planting, etc. We were also allowed to go into the old mill, which had a water wheel. We particularly enjoyed the daily visits of the friendly resident cat. Overall, it was quiet, peaceful and good for wellbeing.
Not being able to stay longer!

This place is exceptional! on arrival we were greeted by Matt, who was so friendly and welcoming, he showed us to our accommodation and we was blown away. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom houses with the mill pond view (magnolia) and the view was just stunning. you can constantly hear the trickle from the stream close by and it is so relaxing. The accommodation itself had everything we needed. I packed a bag with house bits as I do on all our holidays - I didn’t need to use it for the first time ever, as this place was so well equipped. Very clean. Very comfortable beds. Spare pillows, duvets, blankets in the cupboards if needed. There’s a table and chair on the veranda but there was also deck chairs in one of the cupboards for if you want to sit and relax of the decking :). There was also a selection of board games, and me and my partner enjoyed a game of scrabble every night haha. The grounds were exceptionally kept. large area you can wander, with sheep and goat and much more. There was a list in the welcome pack of all the animals spotted at little Norton mill (long list!) so keep a look out if you’re thinking of coming. We spotted the resident king fisher 6 times. We enjoyed strolling around the mill pond multiple times a day. In one the fields there was a large box with all sorts of garden games, cricket, badminton, football, pennies, swing ball etc. and me and my partner enjoyed this very much! Very good parking situation, enough on site parking for all residents. Felt very safe. Little Norton mill is on a lovely quiet road. On-site launderette £2.50 a wash. there was also a little basket in the laundrette with a few toiletries, should you have forgotten anything, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel etc. lovely touch. There are a few pubs near by, the Lord Nelson, the prince of wales and the cat head inn. We had a meal at the cat head inn and it was one of the best meals out I’ve had in a long time. The absolute highlight of the trip was ozzy the cat.
the fact we had to leave!

We had one of the ground floor apartments. It was well laid out - so nice to have a sitting area to watch TV. Beautifully clean and nicely furnished. Bed very comfortable. Gentle shower. Kitchen well equipped. Heating controls were explained to us on arrival. Both owners were friendly and helpful. Lovely setting - excellent for stargazing on our only evening there! Very quiet as it is tucked away from the village. Excellent evening meal in The Nelson in the village.
We would have wanted to stay for more than one night. Be aware that the site can only be accessed via some narrow roads.

As soon as you arrive here you know your in for a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful and look amazing even in the winter months and the welcome we got with Abby and Matt was just very welcoming and friendly. We had one of the cottages that sleep four which are lovely and are very hi spec and overlooks a beautiful lake and i have never stayed in a place where they have thought of everything and even a free pint of milk in the fridge waiting for you and complimentary biscuits, What a lovely touch. If you are thinking of booking this do not hesitate as this place is pure paradise backed up with lovely hosts and we are going to re book as soon as possible.Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We had an amazing 3-night stay at the cottage for our anniversary—it was our best countryside getaway yet! The 2-bedroom cottage was cosy and exceeded our expectations, with a beautiful view of the pond and a super comfortable bed that made us sleep in longer than planned. The cottage was nice and cosy, truly feeling like home. Hosts Abby and Matt were welcoming and provided great recommendations on places to visit and eat. The cottage had everything we needed for meals and plenty of info on local attractions. Despite the weather, we loved relaxing with a garden view and exploring the nearby nature reserves. The friendly cat, Ozzy, and the goats added to the charm. Overall, it was an unforgettable stay, and we can’t wait to return! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Stayed at this beautiful property last night. Asked to try and book in slightly earlier and Matt was fantastic in arranging this, he met me on arrival to show me around and after a brief conversation said we could book out later so we didn’t have to rush. Couldn’t have been anymore helpful. The one bedroom apartment I stayed in was clean and comfy, the furniture was all lovely and the bed was very comfy. Because we were staying for a friends birthday party I didn’t get to walk round the grounds but the location is stunning! Would definitely recommend this property and look forward to returning at some point.
Nothing. It was amazing.

My husband and I plus a couple of friends had a very relaxing few days in Willow cottage at Little Norton Mill. The cottage was lovely and warm when we arrived on a chilly day and was very nicely furnished with a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed a lovely view of the large mill pond from the patio doors. It has extensive grounds with lots of seating areas. From the cottage it’s a short walk into the village where we found the tea room, village shop and pub. Matt was a perfect host and even showed us round the 18th century water mill. There’s so much to do in the area that we have every intention of returning.
Nothing. It was all great.

Location was tucked away within the village ,made you feel you were going somewhere quite special. View from the door of the apartment was beautiful, especially when we had a brief spell of sun. The sunlight glistened over the water and gave a relaxed feel to the quiet of Spring unfolding. Inside was sweet and well presented. loved the small table and cosy chair to relax in to watch if you chose to, the birds on the bird feeders. Bed was comfy, bedding was crisp and the blind shut out the light well. Shower was easy to use and nice towels also available. Good instructions for appliances which really helped and everything was well organised and very clean.
How cold downstairs was. This is understandable due to location of property. You will need to visit to see what I mean. Don't be put off by this. It would be lovely more so, when we have hot weather as we went in March. There was heating available, however we just needed to switch it on. All good after we did that.

Great property in an amazing location surrounded by beautiful gardens & lake. We enjoyed playing badminton ( provided my the host ) with the children, visiting the goats & sitting in our private patio surrounded by gorgeous flowers. Afternoon visit to Ham Hill with its views was fantastic. The local pub Lord Nelson served us a superb meal. Can't wait to go back!
The 2 non-stick pot & frying pan were badly scratched with coating peeling off. Some doggie odour in living room, having doors & windows open helped!

Everything about little Norton mill is amazing! It’s such a beautiful place in the most tranquil areas. The cottage was so clean and comfortable we didn’t want to leave! The owners are so lovely too, very inviting, kind and helpful. We have stayed at quite a few places and I can honestly say that this is up there with the best. Remember to bring your Wellies as there’s acres of land to walk around. We will be back soon, and we can’t wait!!
There’s absolutely nothing to write here!!
