Absolutely loved our stay! Hosts were quick to answer any queries and delivered our breakfast in the morning of our first night's stay. There was plenty of wood for the heating of the hot tub and we managed to get plenty of use of it during our stay. The place was very clean and tidy and we slept very well both nights. Bathroom and shower was all very nice as well. Surroundings were spectacular and the campsite was very calming and tranquil. We felt as no one else stayed which made it a very nice place for a chilled getaway together just enjoying the time away from home.

There could have been a been a bit more toilet roll, a hand towel would have been nice, the kitchen was very basic, a few more tea spoons and a cutting knife would have come in handy. Salt and peppar would have also been a good addition and a kitchen towel to wipe dishes. We struggled to get fire going again after initial burn which was prepped by hosts as we didn't have any firelighters but managed as we brought some of our own for the bbq.

It was absolutely perfect and we didn't want to leave! Spotless when we got there, bedding smelt amazing, hot tub was ready waiting for us, everything we needed was there. Gary and Shanna were absolutely lovely and quick to provide anything else we needed. Please give Tucker the dog a cuddle from me 🥰 would recommend 100% thank you

Absolutely nothing

The site is a great size. Intimate and private. The lodge is exactly what a couple in need of time to themselves needs. A comfy bed, basic cooking facilities and a lovely bathroom. The site itself is well placed for guests to venture out to nearby towns for the day.

really hot inside the accommodation during the day but nobody’s fault. we used the fan all the time so good to have that.

Beautiful location, amazing hosts, wonderful wood fired hot tub, super comfy giant bed and just a perfect romantic retreat. Highly recommended and would love to return. Xx
