The Bull Hotel is a very old coaching house which makes the stay a quarky but very enjoyable one. The room and amenities were very good with very helpful and polite staff. The Hotel serves very good food, which is tasty and of good quality. A fine selection of beers, wines etc, although as a real ale drinker i would expect a couple more of real ales, but thats a personel preference. The Hotel is nicely situated on the High St which has everything you need. A good find was a lovely little micro brewery bar called In Search for Hoppiness. Serves up a great selection of fine ales. Just opposite the Hotel is little bar called the The Colmer, again a lovely place. We only stayed for one night but found our stay very enjoyable with Bridport and The Bull Inn being great hosts, huge thanks to both.

Nothing, all very good

All the staff at The Bull were charming and extremely helpful, nothing seemed to be too much trouble, they were well organised and efficient. The location is as central in Bridport as you could wish for, parking is at the rear of the hotel, accessed from another street, the postcode of which was supplied by email and led us directly to the car park. On our first evening we attended a birthday party at a room within the hotel the food supplied for the event was top notch. Breakfast the next day (which was included) was multiple choice, with everything you could reasonably ask for, it was excellent, so much so we booked a table in the restaurant that evening and were not disappointed. We would happily use The Bull Hotel again which is as much of a recommendation as I can give.

Our room (302) was very nice, spacious and well furnished......the only thing we weren't too keen on was the ensuite bathroom which was compromised by its layout and a sloping ceiling....as a consequence, the mirror over the basin would be fine for anyone less than 5'6", not so easy for anyone taller.....likewise the lamp. Both of these items could be replaced by adjustable modern bathroom fittings which would overcome the problem.

A fabulous small hotel in a great location for Bridport and walking along the Jurassic Coast. Lovely staff, very friendly and welcoming, we opted to upgrade our room on their advice and we're very glad we did as our room was delightful, with a huge bed, impressive bathroom with deep roll-topped bath and fab rainfall shower, overlooking the main street. Noise was not a problem as double glazing and blinds as well as luxurious curtains made it peaceful and in addition they did provide ear plugs which weren't needed. Breakfast was fab with options to suit all tastes and appetites. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay at the Bull again.

Nothing!

Lovely courtyard on entering hotel from parking. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Our room was lovely, we were upgraded to a different room due wedding reception that was being held. We had a large room at the front of hotel overlooking the high street. Four poster bed, very comfortable, roll top bath on a wooden plinth in the room with a separate large walk-in shower and WC. Toiletries supplied smelt lovely, towels were large and soft. Tea making facilities plus a coffee machine. It was a lovely room to celebrate our 8th anniversary ❤️

All good

Had a lovely family room. Spotlessly clean, with a comfy bed. All home comforts provided, tea and coffee making facilities, and delicious biscuits. Parking at the back of the hotel was free which was an added bonus. Breakfast was delicious, we could choose from the help yourself table and then also have something hot from the menu which had locally sourced items. Lovely view onto the courtyard which was very quaint. Lovely bar area. Situated in a great position on the high street, close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants. 20 minute drive to Lyme Regis and 30 minute drive to Weymouth. Would definitely recommend

Nothing, it was excellent

We had a family room which was perfect for the four of us, including the provision of a travel cot for our toddler. The room was very comfortable and the kids loved the rain shower in the attached bathroom. We dined at the restaurant for dinner which had a good range of menu choices for us as well as the children, and the breakfast the following morning was delicious, again with plenty of options. The location was perfect for what we wanted and we left wishing we’d booked two nights instead of one!

Charming hotel and a lovely comfortable room and bed. The staff were absolutely lovely and we will happily stay there again - thank you. The breakfast was superb and beautifully cooked. We stayed in a ground floor room with a little courtyard outside and it was lovely.

The only slight drawbacks were that it was a really hot weekend and the window would only open by a small amount. The courtyard garden was really pretty but a little extra screening would have given more privacy.

The staff were all great, welcoming, friendly, helpful. The food was great, breakfast and in the restaurant. Loved the historic feel of the place, its original use remembered, creaky stairs included.

The only downside for me was the bed, the pillows were lumpy and the matress was hard so didn’t sleep well. However, i didn’t raise the issue so maybe should have given them the opportunity to ractify it for me. My fault.

The Hotel its self was beautiful and in a great location and the garden out the back was lovely. We didn't have an evening meal at the hotel, we had Breakfast and from what was coming out of the kitchen looked lovely and everyone seemed happy. But the English breakfast was a little bit of a let down the scrambled egg was under cooked but still edible the sausages were tiny and the bacon was streaky bacon cooked to a crisp - it wasn't what I thought a hotel of such good standard would make, but I still very much enjoyed my stay and would come back.

Comfortable spacious room , good bathroom with all the extras if you had packed light . Our dinner was excellent, enough choices for all tastes Breakfast was simply delicious & the service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff were all extremely friendly, they were all very professional but in a relaxed way . We would most definitely stay again .

The only flaw was the restaurant lighting in the evening ,way too bright for the evening, it gave the room a canteen vibe .
