A good hearty breakfast. Nice staff. Nice friendly dog who greeted us. The honesty bar was nice.

Fantastic breakfast particularly the cooked to order service and the fresh fruit salad each time. Parking on the property felt secure. Location to town and beach was excellent though the return walk up the hill required some stamina. We chose Lyme Regis and this accommodation as our base for exploring the south west of England from Lands End to the Isle of Wight. Enjoyed some fossil hunting on the coast. Importantly the staff were delightful and helpful.

You must remember this is a grade 2 listed property so has its quirks and maintenance issues as you would expect. Fresh air through opening windows but were a little stiff to open, older features, some mould indicators. But we really enjoyed our stay.

Our room was lovely and clean ,lovely outlook into the garden . Very quiet . Lovely little bay window to sit overlooking garden . The hosts were very helpful and friendly . The breakfast was wonderful with a good choice and great service couldn’t do enough for you .was lovely to support a dying breed of independent hoteliers with personal service .

The decor could have done with a little freshen up maybe although this definitely didn’t detract from our stay in anyway which was very enjoyable and everything was spotlessly clean .

Superb old building accommodation with an intresting history in Lyme Regis, 10 min walk from the main attractions of the seaside, comfortable and welcoming. Car park a big bonus, parked up and didn’t move the car for the entire stay. (We are walkers) Breakfast choice was plentiful. Fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, continental and full English was cooked to order and local produce used. Alex and his team worked tirelessly to please and was on hand to deliver the perfect stay. Highly recommended

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed. Parking is very rare in Lyme so we were very pleased to accept free parking on site. The rooms were spotless, comfortable beds and quiet rooms. There is a lovely garden where we could relax in the afternoon and that made all the difference. Breakfast was served with friendless and warmth and nothing too much trouble. Lots of fabulous choices. I would say the staff went beyond to make us welcome and I believe it was value for money. We will return.

Absolutely nothing

Very nice staff ,lovely breakfast with plenty of choice freshly cooked. Its in a good location for all of Lyme Regis, situated within walking distance of all the main tourist areas, such as the beach, Cob and harbour ( although I could do with getting fitter before my next visit as everywhere seems up !) on-site free parking - big bonus. For a single traveller I think it represents good value

Nothing comes to mind , third time I have stayed and will do again

From the first moment I stepped into this beautiful building i was enchanted. Lyme Regis is full of magic and tales of its glorious past, and this special place was a fantastic find. Alison and Alex are fascinating people to talk with, who understand 'light touch hosting'.and who responded to "special requests" with care. The Kersbrook has a lovely breakfast room, and gorgeous visitors lounge with huge squishy sofas and a view onto the lane infront of the house. It felt like home from home, with that slightly faded splendour that indicates a well loved country house, where you can just be!! The Reception of the Kersbrook is equally as wowh, with origional panel work and a capacious window seat. In fact window seats are a feature of this 17C property. Breakfast was fresh, and plentiful, fresh fruit cereals, juices, tea and cafetiere coffee, toast and a great choice of hot options including a splendid full English with the freshest butter yellow yolks and huge sausage All locally sourced and presented with care. My single room, although bijou, had all I needed to feel really comfortable. The bed was excellent and the extensive view of Lyme Bay a delight. Hot and poweful shower and fresh paintwork. I know Lyme well, so it was a central point from which to navigate, However if I had been so inclined I could have stayed in my room or the guest sitting room all day, and felt perfectly comfortable doing so. I shall definitely choose to come back, thank you for a restorative stay!! :))

That although I stayed for an extra night, I still had to leave!!

The location was within walking distance to the coast. the b&b was clean and comfortable with a good variety of breakfast options. Good sized bathroom with bath & shower. Comfortable double bed. The owner was friendly and polite during our stay.

The lighting was on the bright side with the bedside lamps. Dimmer lamps would be an ideal touch. The room was cold on arrival. However, it did warm up during the evening.

Parking bed comfy cleanliness big shower not alot of noise from other guests. Breakfast very good. Staff all nice. Window over garden was nice.

Hill to town but knew that before. Walk down bus back is best option. Smallest of tvs couldnt see it and didnt want to turn up sound but not that important overall just hard for us old gits :) Could do with bottle of water and biscuits but again not massively important..

Highly recommended: lovely room and property, with a pretty garden area available for guests. Very quiet room and location, ideally situated for access to all parts of the town. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful team. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if in the area.
