Stayed for 4 nights as a quick break, the Hotel and location was excellent however in a residential area as mentioned in other reviews but still has the feel of a country farm, lots of parking space, staff were brilliant, WIFI was fast, food was excellent, especially the Fish n Chips (very big fish), facilities exceptional, as a bonus we did see a couple of deer walking across the field early in the morning (bonus)

The bar shutters came down, had to check out and then leave the premises....I/we will be back...!

The hotel is surrounded by fields, in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The room was cosy, and we had a tasty breakfast in the morning. The bed in the room is really comfortable! It is a great spot to stop for the night on the way to Cornwall from London, but we would have stayed longer. The staff is polite and has been really accommodating with our last minute late arrival.

The property had a EV charger but faulty and didn’t work. We took it easy since there was a charger as mentioned on the listing. Shane it didn’t work.

Hotel is a nice relaxed place in a quiet location. Easy 15min walk into the town and very nice place to stay. Breakfast was well cooked and lots of choice on the menu. The room had lots of tea/coffee and a kettle as well as a large bottle of water provided. Bed was very comfortable and so very happy with my stay here.

The hotel was dog friendly and also accessible for my husband these features alone made the holiday experience great, the staff are great and the rooms very clean , highly recommend the food there too

Lovely staff, delicious food, comfortable room, beautiful location. Bit odd driving through a housing estate to get here.. ..but worth it.

Nice place, clean and tidy Good walking for the dogs and great for them to be allowed.

the party noise but at least it stopped at 1pm... wasn't great then you need to be up early and no waring.

Friendly staff who put themselves out to be helpful. The restaurant food was very good.

The pillows were too firm.

We loved how friendly the staff were and the room was comfortable but a bit dated. The setting was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious! The communal areas were gorgeous and so comfortable with lovely sofas and great room for breakfast. Overall would definitely recommend!

Room and bathroom were a bit dated. We were on the ground floor with windows out directly to the carpark on one side and the outside seating on the other so didn’t feel very private as anyone could look in so had curtains drawn and noisy when windows were open.

The staff were friendly, the food was great and we loved the room. We would definitely return to this little gem
