Sarah and all the staff were very welcoming and our meal in the evening was delicious. The room was warm enough with good facilities. It had a lovely atmosphere in the bar and there wasn't any noise reaching upstairs. Parking was easy and the roads were quiet.. Communication was great prior to arrival. We will happily stay again next time we are in the area. Thank you all for a relaxing stay.

Everything else absolutely fine. One minor thing waa when we had just arrived and were waiting to go down for dinner we could hear some loud knocking and tapping coming from the next room, but this had stopped when we got back and the night was peaceful.

The owners couldn’t have been any better, we were a last minute booking needing to check in late at midnight after a wedding and hoping for breakfast in the morning. Self check in worked perfectly, we had a lovely clean room with a lovely coffee selection and great bathroom. In the morning we had an absolutely fantastic breakfast. Our whole stay was great!

The hostess was very attentive, warm and kind. The facilities were good, as was the food and the beer. I would definitely stay here again, and will invariably do so as the event I attended local to this place is an annual event.

This is being super critical and by no means tarnished my view that this was an excellent stay however the large overhead shower head was too big for the shower cubicle. I do like a large overhead shower head but I found it difficult to lather up with shampoo whilst trying to not have the suds immediately rinse off.

Fabulous venue, room was great size and bed soooo comfortable. A coffee in the room was a lovely bonus. The bathroom was spotless, and the bedding was crisp and brilliant white. The restaurant served beautiful meals with a choice for all palates. Sarah, Paul and the team were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Everything was perfect.

The property is located in heart of the countryside within a short distance to well stocked towns and villages. Communications with the owner were clear and straightforward. They even provided a mobile number in case of any issues. The rooms were clean, well decorated and provided tea, coffee and even a bottle of water. The staff were/ are so friendly and helpful The food is amazing

Parking could be an issue but I found a spot no drama

We recently had the pleasure of staying at 5 Dials a charming pub accommodation in the heart of a quaint English village. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and friendly welcome from the staff, who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The room itself was clean with a comfortable bed, crisp linens, and all the amenities we could need, including a flat-screen TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, with fluffy towels and a powerful shower. Breakfast was lovely, the food was hot and very tasty, thank you Sarah for my morning after hangover drink ! Overall, we couldn't fault our stay at The 5 Diala. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the food was simply outstanding. I would highly recommend this pub accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the 5 Dials.

As a family, we love everything about the property, it’s excellent value for money, a delicious breakfast included in a very reasonable room price, the hosts Sarah and Paul are both fantastic, they are attentive to any special requirements and will do anything to make your stay relaxing. The rooms are immaculately clean, with body and hair wash in the bathroom. This is our 3rd time staying at the Five Dials Inn and it most certainly won’t be our last!

Our room was above the kitchen which made it extremely hot and difficult to sleep. Having said that it’s not something that can be helped and there was a fan provided which was very helpful and considerate.

The Five Dials is a friendly, traditional, vibrant village pub. We only live twenty minutes away and have popped in for drinks when passing over many years (it's extremely convenient to the A303). On this occasion, we decided to take some friends there for dinner and to stay over, so we could properly celebrate their wedding anniversary! The weekend was a great success. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, the bar offers a good pint of Otter - together with a lovely atmosphere and buzz. Our dinner was absolutely delicious - first class cuisine, with a focus on local, independent suppliers and plenty of choice for vegetarians (and non!). Breakfast was also excellent. The manager, Sarah, looked after us so well - and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. A BIG THANK YOU to all the team. For longer stays, the Five Dials is in a really excellent location for exploring the Somerset Levels - and is also close to the Devon and Dorset borders.
