Great place in Lyme Regis, I would stay here again! Diane gave us a very warm welcome and pointed out the best way to the beach (and it was indeed the best way). We also got lemon drizzle cake and a small bottle of local mead as a welcoming gift - very nice touch! Lyme Townhouse is in central location, it's easy to get here by public transport. You can choose between 4 options for your breakfast which we found perfect; dairy free, gluten free and vegan options avaliable, a buffet with fruit, yoghurts, crossaints etc as well. The room was spotless clean and the matress was just perfect.

The room was a bit small, but it was okay for a 2 nights stay. Be warned that the walls between rooms are quite thin - I could hear other travellers snoring all night!

We absolutely loved the location, such an easy stroll to the shops and beach . The breakfast was exceptional, the freshest ingredients and delicious each morning. The staff were so chatty and friendly .

We liked it all . We struggled a bit to park on the Sunday as it was the beginning of half term and a gorgeous sunny day , a really big car park but completely full so think we would look into park and ride next time , having said that the car park had lots of spaces on the bank holiday Monday .

The Townhouse is a short walk up from the main street and close to the beaches and harbour in Lyme - so central and convenient. This is not a full hotel, with no bar or restaurant, but it does not present itself a such and you are a stone's throw from bars and restaurants in the town. They do serve a good breakfast.

The room we had was a bit quirky, comfortable enough with nice bed and good shower, but long and thin and you had to squeeze round the bed. Not really a problem though. It's an old building and the floors are not straight and the door was not flush to the floor, but a towel blocked the light. I think some of the workmanship in the bedroom was a bit 'diy'.

Delicious breakfast. Room small but comfortable and exactly as described. comfy bed. Could have done with a small chair as nowhere to sit other than the bed. Lovely view of the sea from my room . Good quality tea/coffee etc and delicious lemon drizzle cake on arrival. Plenty of fresh milk for tea in a fridge near the room, very thoughtful. Great location . Parking up the hill in public car park overnight , but I didn't mind this.

I could hear people talking in the next door room quite clearly which was off putting. Light shone in under the door from the corridor which lit up the room during the night. I thought £150 quite a lot for one night .

The room was comfortable. The courtesy lemon drizzle cake and mead waiting for us upon arrival was a nice touch. Also appreciated the fresh milk for tea and coffee in room. The breakfast was delicious. Considering this is only a small B & B, there was a large choice and all really nice food. Close to town centre. Parking nearby in car park, free if you were prepared to walk.

The service for breakfast was rather slow, bearing in mind only 2-3 other couples seen whilst we were there. But this wasn't a problem. Road rather steep - obviously that's not the hotel's fault - it wasn't a problem for us but anybody with mobility problems might prefer to stay elsewhere.

Excellent location. Friendly welcome. Light and airy bedroom and comfy bed. Lovely clean white sheets and towels. Good quality toiletries. Good supply of tea/coffee/water. Delicious fresh, good quality breakfasts.

It was shame that the closest parking was up the hill and quite expensive, but that couldn't be helped, as could the size of the room, however it was fine for our short stay and had all facilities required. Only two slight negatives: the toilet didn't flush very well, and unfortunately I struggled to get to sleep because light came in through the gaps in the doorway

Everything about Lyme townhouse was perfect. Just up the hill from the beach and restaurants and shops. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and nothing was too much for them. Every detail was thought of down to the welcome drink and beautiful lemon drizzle cake, yum. 5 stars. On arrival we were given a choice of room as no one else arriving at present. This was such a kind sentiment in my opinion from Jo who managed our booking. Nothing too much trouble. Therefore we had a bigger room which we were grateful for. There was plenty of tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk and cold water in the fridge in the hallway. The bed was super comfortable, the walk in shower was perfect . The views from the window were lovely also. Parking is a 10 minute walk up the hill which is not expensive, you can’t expect free parking in a seaside town like Lyme ! Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices too. Our third time here and it’s somewhere we always return to.

I was given a warm welcome as soon as I arrived and shown to my room where a delicious slice of lemon drizzle cake was waiting for me as well as some delicious mead. My room was extremely comfortable and quiet and I could see the sea which was a big plus. I had a fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning and a great selection of fruit and cereal. It's a short walk down to seafront (but steep) and only a minute from the car park and it is possible to pay for your parking for the next day in advance so you don't need to get up early. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The breakfast, tea and coffee arrangements and general comfort were excellent. The breakfasts were freshly and perfectly cooked with generous provision of fresh fruit, yogurt etc. Staff friendly and helpful, everything served with a smile. Fluffy towels and we appreciated the quiet room as requested. Excellent Wi-Fi. All toiletries are eco friendly and plentiful. Accommodation is well situated for walking into town or to the harbour via pleasant gardens nearby.

No fault of the accommodation but parking is a problem albeit plenty of car parks - just adds to the expense. Coat hooks in the room would be helpful. Just to mention the hilly nature of Lyme Regis was challenging.
