The property is located very centrally less than 5 minutes walk to the high street in Bridport. The room was a good size - the bed was extremely comfortable and there was a lovely coffee and tea tray in the room as well as plenty of plugs. The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable. They communicated very well with us before we arrived and accommodated our late check in - even offering to move their own car to make parking easier. They shared helpful local tips and let us use their iron. Nothing was too much trouble for them!

It is very clear from the listing that the bathroom is shared. We experienced absolutely no issue with this - it was never occupied when we wanted to use it and it was always clean. The price reflects this shared amenity. The parking in the area can be a challenge but the hosts sent us helpful tips before we arrived which helped a lot!

Very friendly owners who I had some interesting chats with - much more easy going than their accomodation listing implies. I was concerned about their 'no shoes indoors' rule, which wasn't enforced (I would have taken off dirty footwear anyway); and their note about check-in times, but they accomodated my 8-8.30pm request. The B&B was very good value for money too. The non-cooked breakfast ("Continental" + cereals, including muesli/granola) was served in their kitchen-diner rather than a traditional B&B breakfast room, which I appreciated as it was much more welcoming, especially as I was walking the coast path alone. They informed me that they are not allowed to offer a cooked breakfast as they are classified as a 'Home Stay', but I quite appreciated a break from an unhealthy traditional Emglish cooked breakfast. They also were very helpful about the local parking problem, which they said they are trying to address. The room and bathroom (shared with only one other room and not a problem) were clean and comfortable, However, the window blind was frayed and the base of the chest of drawers legs had chipped paint, but these were the only negative aspects of an otherwise pleasurable and memorable (for the right reasons) stay. I would definitely recommend and would return if visiting Bridgort again.

Being informed about the parking problem at the time of booking - I had to park a considerable distance from the B&B due to the lack of parking near them. However, the owner kindly moved his car to enable me to park outside the B&B; carried my heavy bag to my room; and told me how he plans to add more parking information to their listing as soon as possible (he was starting it as I left).

I highly recommend this accommodation. It was my first stop on my trip to England, the hosts are two fantastic and helpful people. On the day of arrival we were late and they still welcomed us with such kindness and even freed up a place for us to park our car. The room is large and has everything available and the bathroom is shared but still looks good. The most beautiful part of this accommodation was the typical English breakfast, cooked directly by the host, with whom I had the great pleasure of speaking. recommended to everyone!

We loved how Vida always take care and entertain her tenants. She would always make sure that we are served with breakfast even if there's many of us and she's alone preparing the food. We also love Lily their beautiful dog who always greet us in the morning during breakfast. The place in total is cozy and privacy is achieved. Thank you Vida and we forgot to ask the man's name, he's lovely too who also entertain us and help us with instructions around the town. They both are amazing and we'll never forget how well they treated us. Thanks Vida.

Very nice hosts, quiet but excellent position, very reasonably priced. You share a bathroom which was clean and functional. Breakfast was fine and there are plenty of places in Bridport is you want something cooked.

Our hosts Andy and Veda were superb and very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was well looked-after and easily accessible. Breakfast (and especially the coffee!) was great. Would stay here again if I had the choice.

Just wanted to say thanks for a great stay! The room was perfect for a relaxing recovery after a long ultra marathon, and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. They really went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed the next morning. I'll definitely recommend the place for people who take the Jurassic Challenge!

Very friendly host that was happy to help and a good location that was a short walk from Bridport centre. We had the downstairs room which was a really good size for a family of 3.

A few more options to choose from for breakfast - I am a bit of a piggy and like to have a full English when staying somewhere.

As a lone traveller it was lovely to be made to feel so welcome. My suitcase was taken up to and brought down from my room which was crutial for me ~ thanks so much! I loved the interaction we had and especially loved Lily to puppy!

I struggled a bit with the stairs due to my arthritis, and am not used to sharing facilities, but having said that I knew it was what I'd booked! But I have no complaints!
