The hotel was lovely comfortable, and we had a lovely room The staff went out of their way to help us We were on a cycle tour and we’re leaving very early the next morning. They arranged for breakfast to be in our room so we could have it. They even moved to fridge into our room so they will be fresh milk with it. They found a safe place for us, to store, our bicycles, and arranged that we could get out early in the next morning before the pub opened.

We stayed in room one, and there was a green light in the ceiling that was really really bright at night, but otherwise Everything was absolutely wonderful.

Room although small was comfortable. Shower was excellent. Position within the town meant we could walk everywhere. Lovely Thai restaurant very close by. Breakfast at the Tiger was excellent.

No onsite car park but public car park close by. Lack of communication from the owners - after booking, I wrote to the pub asking to be upgraded to Room 1 at the top of the pub as its a lovely room and we have stayed in there before. I knew there would be additional costs for this, but I didnt get a response to my request. On arrival, the upgrade was not possible for some reason. This was my birthday treat and my husband had asked for a bottle of prosecco to be put in the room for our arrival. He too didn't receive a response. This was such a shame as communication is everything in this day and age.

Everything! We had a fantastic stay, of particular note are the friendly and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable rooms and the most amazing breakfast! A number in our party had dietary requirements which were really well catered for, the kitchen staff were just wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time.

The only negatives (and I'm reaching here as everything was fabulous) was there were no towels in the room on arrival. Not really an issue though as they arrived 5 minutes after requesting them. Also there is no parking although we did manage to park on the street a few 100 yards away. We were fortunate as most of our party had to park in the nearby council car park and pay. The lack of parking is the only reason for not giving a 10 out of 10.

Couldn't make it in time for check in due to being late for a wedding (broken down bus) so staff put keys in lock box at door and gave me full instructions on how to get them. Comfy bed, double shower and tea/coffee/kettle in room. Breakfast was very good, cereal and juice while we awaited the delicious fry up !!

Saturday night with room above a pub so understandable that it was a bit noisy. But as soon as the pub kicked out at 11 it was nice and peaceful.

We like the Tiger inn and that is why we return whenever we can.

The inability to be able to contact booking.com easily regarding our travelling companions. They both got Covid after the 9th June when the money was debited from my account. I simply wanted to see if they would be able to get a credit for their share (half) ..The Tiger Inn is completely happy for this to happen but it has proved difficult to be able to contact you.

Excellent local inn with very welcoming staff. The Tiger is primarily a local pub in an excellent location just off the Main Street but at the end of a dead end so virtually no vehicular traffic passes the door. Only a small en suite room with a comfortable bed looking out onto a rear courtyard - room 6. Excellent breakfast laid up downstairs with an interesting choice of dishes. Not the Ritz but for us preferable and wish we had been able to become locals and enjoy the selection of beers available in the bar. A real local pub that Bridport should,d be proud of.

Small local inn where you immediately felt at home.

Good sized comfortable room ( king). Just off high street. Excellent quality hot breakfast- one of best we’ve had - choice of std cooked, veg cooked but also eggs Benedict, eggs royale etc. Quality local products such as lovely marmalades , jams etc Really nice free house bar with good choice of beers, wines etc No evening food but lots places to choose from 5 mins walk

Sadly no parking, although public paid parking nearby. No fresh fruit at breakfast can understand when not full not possible to offer fruit salad, but individual pieces of fruit on offer would be nice. Otherwise really great.

This hotel is in a perfect location,just a few minutes from the town,pubs, restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar was lively ( it was a Saturday) loud which didn't bother us at all with a great atmosphere. The room was spacious, a big comfortable bed and clean and spacious bathroom. The only thing was that the room was incredibly hot even when we turned the heating down and it was freezing outside. I tried to open a window but couldn't work out how to keep it open so had to wedge a towel underneath the frame .This wasn't a big deal and certainly wouldn't put me off going back. ( Rather be hot than cold) the breakfast was great and plentiful with lots of tea and juice. We will definitely be returning in the summer.

There wasn't really anything to dislike apart from how hot the room was as mentioned above. But like I said I'd rather be hot than cold. You do also have to remember to lower the blind in the bathroom as not to shock the poor people who live opposite! 😁

Being local to Bridport we know the Tiger Inn as an excellent pub with great choice of ales and characterful bar areas. We decided to treat ourselves to a night on the town so booked a room rather than a taxi home! It was clean, comfortable and very enjoyable.  Breakfast well exceeded expectation, table beautifully laid and food delicious with various options.  Highly recommend. 

Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious and clean and Breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect too, central to Bridport shops and restaurants and the long stay carpark is literally a 2 minute walk away. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back!

Unfortunately had some very noisy and inconsiderate guests until the early hours also staying, but in fairness the soundproofing isn’t the best, I would just take some earplugs next time!
