The rooms were a little way back from the road so you don’t get all the traffic noise. Convenient location close to the ferry port and snorkel tour meeting points. Bed was very comfortable and the whole room was clean, I liked having the sofa and the balcony sitting area Hosts provide a menu for the restaurant next door (good food but slow service) as well as information about tours, snorkelling, scooter rental if you need it

I can’t really think of anything I didn’t like about this place except that there were a lot of those black caterpillars everywhere inside and out!

Friendly Staff - family run Great location in the town - restaurants within walking distance and bike hire nearby *** They own a cafe and restaurants next door - Incredible Coffee notes of chocolate!! Food is good and well priced we ate at least one meal a day here. Lovely little garden cortyard with flowers and greenery. Added bonus

It was clean but could improve bathroom - but we're in Indonesia so unknown smells are standard.

Nice Bungalow very close to the Ferry port. in previews reviews have talked about a smell in the bathroom, so I’m happy to report that the bathroom had a extraction fan and there were no smells. the shower was clean, the hot water worked and they made my bed everyday. The staff was lovely.

Honestly, my stay was lovely but considering the price I wish breakfast had been included. The hostel itself doesn’t have a kitchen but some hostels have deals with nearby restaurants. It would have been nice to have that option with the lovely restaurant next door. The toilet and sink in the bathroom were a little wobbly, but I can live with that.

they are cleaning the room daily, the rooms are spacious and they are located next to Scuba Junkie. Hot water 24/7 and the air-conditioning is silent compared with other locations.

the bathroom has the mirror and the shower positioned at 1.5 meters from the ground. I'm 1.8m tall and shaving myself and sometime washing my hair was a struggle.

I did 5 days of diving with Scuba Junkies and stayed at this property for the duration. It is right next door to the dive centre and you walk from there to the beach to get on the dive boats. The Homestay let me check in about 4 hours early which was greatly appreciated. The room was fine, good bed, nice shower and toilet and a small stoop to sit out on for morning coffee. Their restaurant next door was excellent food and I ate their quite a bit as it was so convenient. Laundry is a 1 minute walk away as is the supermarket. Overall for diving with Scuba Junkies this place is excellent!

The location.. walking distance to banjar nyuh port.. halal restaurants attached with the homestay.. easy to get food.. wifi strength is acceptable.. nice and helpful staff they hv there.. yes willl booked again in future

Need some maintenance to the room main door and aircond.. during daytime in hot weather its maybe a little bit not cold enough.. no prob at nite

The rooms were clean and beds comfortable, air conditioning was working. There is no Grab or Gojek so the taxis on the island can be expensive so bargain hard, there are plenty to choose from so keep going until you get a good deal.

I've been to Nusa Penida before and normal place was booked so a friend recommended i might try la nusa and I'm very happy she did.. I'm very exacting around my needs as when I'm away on a trip I'm very bizzy so comfort and a sense of security is very important so i can concentrate on the diving I'm doing... La Nusa is a little Oasis of all the above.. Putu and his family who run things are everything you need in hosts.. I stayed in their most expensive which isn't for what you get. A very comfortable rattan and bamboo villa with a large 4 poster bed. picture perfect and very comfortable. I had originally booked 4 nights, but extended because of the diving,it was absolutely no problem and i was lucky it was free. I will not hesitate to return to La nusa on my next trip to Penida.. The only downside was wifi is little slow and room could benifit from small mini bar fridge for keeping milk and beers cool... The little coffee shop/bistro next doors takes care of all that JOGLO 🏆 are the business.. 5 stars all round for La Nusa

Everything. Firstly the owner is the most amazing person you’ll ever meet. The room is very clean and plenty of space. Aircon works perfectly and very good location. They have the best restaurant next door with the best chicken parmi. Will be back next time. They have scooter hire just down the road and when I told them where I was staying they gave me a discount.
