Staff welcoming and helpful during my stay. Exceptionally well-appointed room which was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Ayurvedic treatments in hotel Spa were amazing and great value for money- I can definitely recommend these. Restaurant staff friendly and helpful. All in all I would rate this as an excellent small hotel that exudes calm, and is the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of daily life!!

Nothing- I was very pleased with my choice of hotel in Kochi. I guess it’s a taxi or tuk tuk ride away from the main tourist areas of Kochi, but this enhanced the appeal of the hotel for me.

Second time staying here. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Has a pleasant atmosphere and a good calming fragrance throughout the hotel. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Water pressure was excellent and washroom is very clean.

We booked 2 rooms, WiFi on 2nd floor room (nobility) was extremely poor. Need to step out of the room to access WiFi. Room service meals cost the same as the restaurant itself but the portions are much lesser. (Ordered South Indian filter coffee in both restaurant and room service, only half mug served for room service, and in restaurant it was a full mug). Proximity to shopping areas is a little distant, needs Uber/ Auto to go to those areas.

I’ve been staying at this hotel frequently for the past year, and every visit has been a consistently pleasant experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the ambiance is calm, and the location is perfect for both business and leisure stays in Kochi. A special mention to Sowmya from the staff — her friendly and helpful nature always adds to the comfort of my stay and reflects the overall hospitality of the hotel. The hotel also offers a great massage facility, which is a big plus for tourists looking to relax after a long day. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kochi; it’s become my go-to stay for a reason!

When it comes to what I didn’t like about the hotel — honestly, there’s nothing that comes to mind. Every aspect of my stay has been smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. From the cleanliness and service to the overall atmosphere, everything has consistently met or exceeded my expectations.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff—from the front desk to the housekeeping team—were cheerful, helpful, and welcoming. The room was spotless and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The spa center was a highlight, offering professional Ayurvedic massages that left me feeling completely relaxed.

It would be great to have a café or separate kitchen that serves a variety of local dishes, as the current café offers only continental options. Providing a dental kit and a notepad with pen in the room would also be a nice touch.

This is one of the best places to stay in Cochin, offering excellent rooms equipped with all the modern amenities. The hotel is located in a prime area, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. From start to finish, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient, making our stay effortless and enjoyable. We still fondly remember the receptionist’s cheerful laugh during our morning conversation—it was a refreshing and uplifting start to the day. This was our first stay during our three-week vacation in India, and it set such a positive tone for the rest of the trip. We were delighted to have discovered this place. We had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every meal with its choice, presentation and taste were excellent. Ambience was excellent as well. The staff, be it at reception, serve, restaurant and cleaning are all professional, courteous and friendly. All appear to be happily shouldering their respective responsibilities.Those at the reception and restaurant need to be specially congratulated as they continued to perform wonderfully is spite of overwhelming number of customers on a shoestring staffing. The spa facilities and the three young staff were excellent as well.

There is nothing that I didn’t like!! Car parking facilities could be better. Having mentioning that, your reception staff were extremely cooperative to accommodate both our cars at safe spots within your enclosure.

We stayed at Royalty room and had a great stay at this hotel! Our checkin and checkout went smoothly. The staff were well prepared for our checkin. Carlton was very helpful during our early morning checkout. After checkin, The manager, George gave us a tour of the place. The place was very clean and pictures don’t do justice to this place! It looks far more better than pictures. Location was good, there were small supermarkets and restaurants nearby where you can get any small item you need.

The menu of the restaurant upstairs was very limited and sadly only some items from the menu was available during our stay, which was a bit upsetting. However the food available is really good and worth the price.

This place is a total gem in Kochi. For the money we paid, and the facilities it was amazing. The rooms are roomy although our bathroom was small, we moved to a different room and had a much larger bathroom. The pool was a great reprieve from the city and the staff were all really nice.

Unfortunately, the only thing that ruined our stay here was the strong smell of mould. Our first room had mould all over the ceiling in the bathroom, and the second room smelt badly of it, although you could not see it.

I have probably been to Retrieve around 10 plus times now honestly, i have lost count. Every time i am in Cochin, this is where I land, whether it’s for work or just some quiet time. There’s something about the vibe here. calm, simple, and kind of comforting. The rooftop cafe is a favourite of mine, and the spa is a nice bonus when I need to relax. Solo or with family, it just works. Feels like a little pocket of peace in the middle of the city.

The hotel is located by the main road itself. So it was easy for me to book cab/auto. Also there are ATMs & restaurants very nearby. The staff are very polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Really great room for the price. Wish i had enough days to check out their spa & pool.

1. I don't know how, but in the evening a few mosquitoes got in the room both the nights. We never opened our windows. 2. It would have been nice if they had a mirror in the bathroom. The washbasin area is separate from the bathroom, which is a good thing (especially if there are 2 people). But a mirror in the bathroom would have been better.
