Daniela very kindly sorted out the room situation for us when the family room was unavailable at the last minute and provided us with something much better than what we originally booked. She was very polite, spoke brilliant English (sorry - we're still trying to learn French!) and was a fabulous receptionist all round. We then got to our rooms and they were immaculate. Bathrooms were clean and stocked well, beds made beautifully, tea and coffee with a kettle available, good noise insulation... Everything met my expectations. The French really know how to look after people and I would love to stay here again to see more of Pau and other parts of France. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Didn’t have breakfast

Pillows were very uncomfortable as they are square, not rectangular, on a very large bed and not very soft. Perhaps they are what the French use but British pillows are rectangular and reach across the whole width of the bed. As a consequence, my wife and I both had neck ache.

We only stayed for one night but the overall feeling was positive. Good room, good bathroom, nice decoration and comfy beds. Air conditioning worked fine and we could arrive late with a code and a locked with the key. We could also leave early and reception opened also very early so I could settle my bill. Close to the highway to get in and out and there were also supermarkets close by.

Well, I actually can't think of anything in our context (sleeping one night during a road trip)... except for the fact that I booked a quadruple room and got two rooms (2 + 3 beds) which made our sleeping arrangements change due to a younger child.

Everything was fine, we had two rooms for us five, which was enough. The rooms are warm (AC working), everything clean, showers are fine. The breakfast is okay but could be more varied. The staff is very polite and helpful. Good location near big shopping center, parking at the hotel is available.

For me the standout feature of this hotel was its location. It was easy to access by car, but also had excellent public transport connections to the city via the F bus line. It was close to restaurants, fuel station and a hypermarket.

Room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Parking on site for free. Next door a lovley Mexican Restaurant. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Nice toiletries.

Bathroom had issues a flat shower tray, with no door, a very full dirty shower trap caused water to not drain away and caused a build up of shower water that had no where to go but over the edge on to the floor, which as no proper door, proceeded out onto the carpet of the room, making the carpet wet. The receptionist did come to clear the blocked shower trap, the water then drained as it should. We needed fresh towels as all were used mopping up puddle of water on floor. Luckily we were then able to take our showes eventually. They sorted the issue straight away, was inconvenient, but guess this will remind them to check showers regularly.

Great location - can park right outside your room so perfect for those with motorbikes or have bikes on a rack etc. 40 min walk to town centre very worthwhile! Staff were excellent. Only downside was breakfast in my view not worth the money. But great place and will definitely visit again!

Free parking on site, convenient location to visit Pau centre. A Turkish restaurant is nearby offering reasonable prices for food.

The bathroom was small, no elevator in the hotel, breakfast was short of variety.

The staff, they really go out of your way to help you and make things easier for you. Thank you so much! Everything was imaculately clean, the beds are comfy, all in all great value for money!

Excellent spot for a quick stopover or even a short stay. The staff is happy to help, very courteous and professional. Rooms are small but quite cozy with effective air conditioning giving a much-needed respite from the heat. The bathroom was spotless, so that's a big plus for the cleaning staff. Breakfast was adequate with good assortments of croissants, fruits, and confiture along with a coffee machine and an option for fresh juice. The location is a bit outside of the city so not many restaurants and stores around, only banks and companies. A small shopping center is nearby with all the fast-food Burger joints. It's close to the Flixbus/Blablacar bus stop.

The location is outside the main city but not that they can help with it. Public transport isn't that frequent - only one or 2 connections per hour even on weekdays.
