Very cute hotel located within a few minutes of major Oviedo attractions including Camp de San Francisco, the Cathedral of San Salvador and the casco viejo. Only a 15 minute walk to the train station and bus station, as well, which makes it easy to take day trips to Gijón and other surrounding areas. The room was comfortable but the air conditioning struggled a bit on the hottest day of our stay. Leaving the windows open at night was not an option as the street noise from traffic, a nearby restaurant / cafe, and drunks coming home from the bars was a bit loud. But that comes with the location. The neighborhood is surrounded by shops, restaurants, cider bars, and cafes - everything you would need for a weekend visit.

Air conditioning could have been a bit stronger and the street noise made sleeping at night a bit difficult during our stay.

The staff is amazingly friendly and very helpful. Even though we arrived a bit too early they let us have the room because it was ready. The rooms have everything you need for your stay and the location is amazingly central, so you can get around very easily.

Admittedly the facilities are a bit old but well maintained. One time we stayed we needed to change the room because the feet of the bed frame were broken. However the staff was very quick in adapting and giving us a solution. The only downside might be the mattress which I didn't find so comfortable, the room size a little bit small, and you are between two streets (traffic noise depending on the time of the day). But even there the old windows are able to keep a big share of the noise outside.

The room was spacious and light with quality furnishings beyond what should be expected at this level. The many windows (one of which faced the medieval Convent facade) were equipped with blinds and curtains and allowed enough ventilation despite the warm weather. Centrally placed for all Oviedo's attractions. The hotel also has an associated cafe of some quality which is open long hours and looks very useful. What unexpected romance!

Nothing really for us, but visitors should be aware that windows face a busy road junction, which can be noisy for most of the day and night. We were on the third floor, so I can only imagine the traffic noise is greater for lower floors. But one cannot expect to be at the centre of a things and enjoy the tranquility of a country inn...

Excellent central location and easy to park car across the street. Comfortable bed and good shower. Lovely breakfast in the cafe. Very nice staff - keen to help.

Air conditioning was not effective enough for the weather we had. Quite noisy as in the centre of town - a room higher up would have improved this.

Great location near the historical centre. Fairly short walk from the bus station down the main street. Really close to most of the main architectural sites of interest plus a good range of places to eat and drink close by.

Relatively expensive but we visited in mid-summer. Air conditioning was a little lacklustre, but good apart from that. Windows overlooking something of a focal point for late night revellers going home might be considered noisy by some.

Extremely clean, nice staff and great coffee place in the hotel. Very close to all attractions and nice restaurants..

Wi-Fi has good coverage but each device is rate limited to less than 1Mbps, if you need to work from the hotel then you need mobile data or another option. Hotel located next to busy street and there's poor acoustic insulation so ear plugs are mandatory!

Loved the location, so much to see within just 3-7 minute walk. Staff was very nice. Quiet room. Laundromat just across the street. Calle de la Cidra only a two minute walk.

The rooms on the fourth floor were a little cramped because of the angle of the roof, watch your head as you approach the closet, but I'm not sure about the other floors. WiFi was a little weak.

Esmelda, Carmen and the Romanian lady (can't remember her name) were amazing and if I would stay there again would be Def thanks to their attention

The room was a bit overpriced but I believe that is because of the Kids Football tournament they had during Easter time

Big, cozy room, with a large bathroom. Excellent location facing an old church.

There could be a small fridge in the room, the fan or air conditioning could work better.
