Room very clean, scented infusers used everywhere making the smell quite pleasant. Location very convenient and central. Host is very friendly.

Lots of noise: I could hear my neighbour walking and chatting and even snoring at night. The building is mostly wooden structure so very little sound-proof. Downstairs is a pedestrian path, sometimes you hear people shouting or singing in the middle of the night, or dogs barking in the morning. Stairs: the stairs are steep and only have handles on one side, very challenging to go up and down with my suitcase. Size of the room: I booked the studio apartment, and the name could be a little misleading - note that it is basically a studio, where you have NO dedicated area for kitchen or living room. I stayed there alone for around 10 days, and the space was sufficient for me, but having two people there for a couple of days can be a little squashed

I had the absolute pleasure of staying in this centrally located apartment, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by its old-world charm—beautiful architectural details, vintage touches, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that made me feel instantly at home. The decor is impeccable—thoughtfully curated with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. Every corner tells a story, and the attention to detail is truly remarkable. It’s clear that a lot of love and care went into designing this space. Cleanliness was top-notch. The apartment was spotless, fresh, and well-maintained, which made my stay even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place that combines character with such high standards of upkeep. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this apartment is a dream. I can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning! The property is located in the center of Setubal, close to everything. The apartment is decorated with great taste, keeping the old charm and updated facilities. We were 5, and we fit perfectly. Air conditioning is available in the bedroom. If you leave the door open to the main room, it will cool it down as well. There is paid parking available by the Church, which is about 50 m from the house. Waking up to church bells is just something you have to experience. Going down the stairs and being in the center of the city is just priceless. Right across from it, Taverna Invictus, the best food we had in Setubal (and maybe all of Portugal).

The apartment is on the first floor with very steep stairs. Keep that in mind if you have mobility problems. Air conditioning could be stronger (cooler), but at the time of our stay, it was really hot days. On regular days, the cool breeze through the windows should be enough.

Everything was so nice! We are gonna recommend to friends and family and hopefully come back. Much nicer to stay here and go by bus to Lisbon, than living there. Setubal is the perfect city and the appartment is placed right in the old area with no traffic and small shops and cafes right outside.

The only window was facing a small courtyard of only few squaremeters, so for the room we stayed in, not a lot of light entered... The rest of the rooms and appartments have windows facing the street or is situated higher and gets more light.

Excellent location in the middle of old tourist centre. Lovely restaurants, cafes, bars in the neighbourhood. Lisetta was a lovely host. Very helpful and quick to respond. The apartment was done up very well. Decor had charm and character. Lots of attention to detail. No washing machine but there was a laundromat around the corner. Enjoyed hearing the church bells :)

Wifi was very poor.Literally no wifi in the bedroom and loft. Lisetta provided us a cable that you can connect to your device to get data. There is paid parking close to the apartment but not easy to get. There are parking lots 5 -10 mins away near the port where you can get paid parking for the day. Noise/footsteps from the loft above the master bedroom could be a disturbance in the night.

We had an amazing time in Setúbal and we really enjoyed staying at Cafofos da Zeta. The room was beautiful, super clean and comfortable.. The building is in the most perfect location right in the centre of Setúbal. I'd recommend trying the brunch place just over the road for amazing healthy breakfast and lunch options. The host (Liseta) was a really lovely kind person who showed us round, gave us some great tips and was always available if we had any questions etc. This was our favourite place we stayed in all of Portugal and we would highly recommend staying here!

There is much attention to detail being put into the beautiful interior decorating, as well as in the kitchen. It really felt like a place where one could live for a long time. Zeta is a lovely host and extremely helpful. This has probably been one of the nicest places I have chosen on Booking.com.

My last morning there, the guests upstairs were not considerate of others. Stomping around, dragging chairs around since 7:00.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The location was convenient to all the places I needed. The outdoor noise was minimal, although I imagine high season would be different. The church bells were charming and did not start before 8am. They also ended at 8pm! Wifi was very good.

There's no interior soundproofing, so noises from other tenants were very clear. A quiet group for the most part this stay.

The hosts were great communicators and the apartment had everything needed for a basic stay. The location was good too.

It was smaller than I thought it would be (but that is probably my mistake!). Also the bed sheets did not fit the bed, although, the host did everything they could to address the issue.

Second time we stay at Cafofos da Zeta. The location is as best as you can get in Setubal, walking distance to restaurant, bars and cafes and a very short car ride to the beach. The apartment w newly renovated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner is very helpful and friendly, will definitely go back.

The sofa bed for the 4th guest was a bit small and not very comfortable. Besides that everything else was perfect.

The location of the property was ideal in the centre of Setubal and was an ideal size and set up in the room. We were able to use the storage room for the bike box we brought and for assembling and dismantling the bike for transport which made the whole process much easier.
