I travelled with my 17yr old son to have a look around Broken Hill, stayed 2 nights. The accommodation was perfect in a twin bedroom, had everything we needed. I asked for extra blankets which they accommodated, thank you. We had a carpark outside our room. We could control the air conditioning in our room to our comfort and turn it off when it was time for bed which meant we were cosy and warm, but not over heated during the night. The Motor Inn was quiet, we could hear trucks pass on the road outside, but it didn't disturb us. The restaurant was a few meters away from our room, but we didn't hear a thing.

There was a problem with the hot water system and we had no hot water to shower with the 1st day we were there , the staff however did all they could to get the problem sorted out , even organizing a room move ,however a plumber and electrician worked hard to rectify the problem so a move to a different room wasn’t needed .

The parking in front of your room was a bit of a squeeze to maneuver through with some of the large off road vehicles that came in . But nothing major

Very happy with our stay at the Silver Haven Motel. Situated across the road from the main reception, we were promptly met on check in due to arriving on our Motorbike soaked and directed across the road. Older style exterior however the inside has been tastefully updated. Very clean and tidy. Contained all facilities we needed. An easy 10 minute walk to the main street area.

Drainage was poor in the shower and basin.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner at the in house restaurant was a very good experience with a good choice of food and wine also attentive waiting staff.

The room was not really wheelchair friendly and the bathroom was very "squeezy". We could also easily hear the conversations of the people next door.

Location, and has a restaurant as well on site. There’s a pub across the road. The bed was comfy, the room really clean and the bathroom had a great shower and nice towels. The linen was new on the bed too. Staff were really friendly. Nice people. I’d stay again - was convenient and comfortable at a great price.

The location was perfect, the room was very pleasant, I found the bed very comfortable, I found the staff very friendly and approachable. I didn't get to try out the swimming pool because the weather was a bit too cold to go swimming.

The only thing I didn't like was the noisy neighbor's that were leaving early in the morning and insisted on slamming doors, not once but five times, and not taking other people sleeping into consideration. This is no reflection on the motel itself just inconsiderate people.

Everything was clean and fresh. Plenty of complementary supplies and we only had to ask if we needed more. Beds were very comfortable and the linens felt amazing. Staff were always helpful and friendly .

Could have done with a couple of extra bath mats. Also full length mirror inside the wardrobe door would have helped as we were three woman trying to get ready for a birthday party. And our door lock was a bit hard to open. But none of that is too big a deal.

Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Clothes washing service was an added bonus that you don’t normally see in motels.

Location was a bit far from centre of town but had great meal at Hotel across the road that I would recommend.

This is my preferred accommodation when i travel to Broken Hill. I like the staff. They cater to my requirements. My preference is the units across the street. plenty of room.

Beds are hard. Its manageable for 3-4 days. I'd still return

Staff were super helpful and made signing in very easy. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding, great to wash off the red dust after a day of adventuring.

Single beds are standard size which is ok unless you are tall, in which case your feet will hang over the end.
