Andrea and the hosts were really courteous and welcoming. Although the check in time was 3pm but an exception was made for us since we were with a toddler. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Hot shower and a clean spacious bathroom was also a huge plus. The views from the window and the balcony were out of this world! We enjoyed the sunrise and the sunset to the fullest over the mountains. The train station and bus station are close by and easily accessible on foot. Hiking trails right next to the property. We felt really safe and welcoming, and we plan to come back here again in the future!

The location was stunning, especially as the weather and views were exceptional during our stay - it really was panorama and so so quiet as nothing even close to disturb you. Parking ample, and the continental breakfast was excellent. The room was OK, not the views we asked for but I suppose that's down to luck. (Next time I would definitely reserve a balcony toom with a view - even if at cost). Access to drinks fridge at night should you wish for local beverages etc. If there was an evening meal.option this place would be exceptional.

For some reason, there is currently no evening meal option, which was a shame as needed to either drive into Garmish or walk (which wouldn't really be an option for some).

Very friendly staff A breakfast with a huge variety. If you want to have some scrambled eggs or something similar, simply ask. Fresh bread in the morning, juices, fruits etc... In the evening it´s very calm as it´s not in the city anymore but still in walking distance of it. Private parking bit enough to host the guests.

Only minor things... Think the table in the room is too small for the content on it. Less is more I guess. The tablet is something you could simply mount on one of the walls. I had a queen size bed but with two matraces. One big one would be more comfy. If you have loud neighbors above, you will hear them...but it´s a Landgasthof (country inn)...that´s what you´d expect anyway.

We absolutely loved our stay!! My husband, 6 month old baby, and I stayed in a beautiful balcony room. At night after we put the baby to bed we enjoyed hanging out on the balcony and having views of the town and mountains. Great breakfast option in the morning and close to a hiking trail heads. We like to look for off the beaten path, family run accommodations, and this has been one of our very favorites. Everything was clean, and the family that runs the hotel is kind and very accommodating. We will be highly recommending to our friends and family, and hope to be back some day ourselves!

The location was stupendous! The view from our room, and large balcony, looked over the town and along the mountains including Zugspitz. Free car parking was available on site. Our host, Andrea, was terrific - very friendly and informative. Gave us great advice on visiting the mountains. We arrived very early and were able to check in to our room right away which was lovely. The room was not large, but well appointed and very comfortable. Also nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a large shower and good hot water. The Wifi was good. We would recommend this accomodation.

Breathtaking view from the room, had a hard time committing to my original plans of leaving the hotel to explore! The room was spacious too. The restaurant offers some decent food so you don't have to walk back and forth into the city center.

There were some small spiders in the room, but I think you can expect that in a mountain town like so, and I was also leaving the balcony door open quite a bit.

Beautiful location on a hill up above Partenkirchen, with views of the town and mountains, including Zugspitze, from the restaurant terrace. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet (20 euros per person) and outdoor tables.

Lack of elevator to our 3rd floor room. Lack of balcony and view from our 'family room'. German-only dinner menu in restaurant (but waiter helped translate.)

Perfect location for the wank lift area. About 1/2 mile to town (steep hike -road). Lots of food options in town. I stayed here and walked to the partchnech (spelling) the up to knorrhutte. Good place to leave car and belongings. 2nd time here. I was in room 8 with a great view of the zugspitze

Pillows were not the best. A light throw blanket would have been a bonus (too hot for the comforter)

Easy communication before arrival. Un-staffed in the evening, but no problem locating key or room. Nice room with extremely comfortable bed, and stunning view. Great sleep both nights. We particularly enjoyed the quietness and peace of the location. The nearest restaurant is a good curry place only 10 minutes walk down the hill. There are plenty of other choices within 15 minutes walk. Personally I found the short walk back up the hill was just right after dinner.

The location is great. There is hiking right from your room. We loved the local cows with bells roaming outside the gate.. It's on a mountain and there are fantastic views. The rooms are comfortable. There were plenty of towels. It was quiet. We had a balcony which we really enjoyed.

I wish there was a mini fridge in the room but I knew this was not the case before we arrived. Everything else was great.
