The Doubletree in Kadıköy exceeded my expectations. Arriving late at SAW, I could practically take the metro to the property's front door. I knew about that going in. But when I walked up to building, I was surprised by the hotel's upscale look and feel. I had expected the adequate but bland kind of Doubletree one often finds in the US. This hotel was quite a bit fancier. Certainly not a Kempinski but better than your average Marriott. Key measures of quality -- cleanliness, comfort, and service -- followed suit. As did an excellent dinner on the top floor, with a stunning view of the Bosporus. A great place to stay.

The gym, which is in the basement, didn't measure up to reviews. My biggest gripe was the enormous TV in my room, which was positioned at the foot the bed, where it effectively cut the space in half. Quite the opposite of feng shui.

Location and roof top bar. Comfortable beds. Great staff. Quiet

Not sure housekeeping was as good as I would have expected. Had to request shower gel (which was promptly provided) and no water left on one of the days.

Comfy, clean room. Good views. Excellent location in Kadikoy, nearby public transport. Great variety of food at breakfast. Okay hotel gym with the basics. Enjoyed the spa facilities.

Bathroom is outdated. Bathroom and bedroom are separated by glass, with a curtain. So you'll notice the bathroom lights are on, which isn't ideal if someone is trying to sleep.

Friendly staff, good location. Nice gym and gym facilities.

My room didn't have any toiletry kits. Everyday I had to request them.. The room service menu needs more variety. The Turkish hammam service was very expensive, it also lacked the sauna and steam part before it .

Location: The T3 tram stop is right infront of the hotel. The Kadikoy Metro station is 4 minutes walk away. Many shops/restaurants nearby. The hotel is well maintained and in excellent condition. That explains the average daily room rate. The Doubles offer a large selection of cold & hot dishes for breakfast. All the staff are very professional.

Apart from BBC & CNN news channels, there were no English channels on TV. The mattress should be firmer

Great location. The port and metro station are very close, making it easy to access the European part of Istanbul. Room was very clean, and the cleaning staff was amazing (kudos to the cleaning lady) - they took care of us and our needs to the full extent. Hotel has two restaurants. One has a magnificent view, but for the food I would recommend the other one, called "Gazette". As a typical Hilton hotel, the room are very functional, and one can find drawers everywhere to stash personal belongings and bought souvenirs. Surroundings are much more peaceful and without any scammers compared to the European side. One can still buy all the necessary Turkish delights, spices, and souvenirs also in this area, but for much lower prices.

The upper restaurant served os "Asian style duck", but it was raw inside. I haven't heard af Asians eating raw duck, but I would at least hope that the waiter would ask me whether I want my duck raw, medium, or cooked in that case. The AC system seemed a bit weak, especially at night. Would have wished to be able to fully open my window. Keep in mind that if one wants to book different excursions with a hotel pickup, it is not possible from the hotels in the Asia side (though this is not a fault of the hotel itself, of course, just a friendly reminder for fellow travelers).

The location of the Hotel is near the stop of ferries that connects to othe places to visit in Istanbul. We we're rightaway given some welcome cookies, so nice of you! the receptionist is very kind efficient and fast! Our room is big and we have everything we need The breakfast was great !they have freshly bake breads which are so delicious! My compliments for checking the buffet area!for cleanliness of he chafing dishes goodjob! Also For freshly bake food offering directly to the guests! At the table.We will surely recommend this hotel to our friends and relatives!

We really want to seeThe rooftop terrace to just see the view but its only accessible in the morning.

Excellent, friendly staff, cool hotel, everything is comfortable and convenient. Located next to the Kadikoy metro station and the ferry station, the location is excellent. Breakfasts are simply gorgeous, everything is very tasty and varied.

Leaving the room early in the morning, I pressed the button asking to clean up. I came back closer to evening, the cleaning had not been done. A bit unpleasant for a hotel of this level. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, I still didn't understand why. I couldn't air it out.

super location ! We arrived by metro straight from the airport and very short walk to the hotel. Also from the metro easy to go to Akasya shopping mal. Equally short distance to ferry for crossing Bosphorous. At the entrance of Kadiköy popular area. the hotel room was spacious, excellent bed, nice desk to do some work on laptop, enough space for clothes ...

The airconditioning. No way to turn off the airco. 2nd night we found that opening the window closes down the airco but now you have a lot of noise from the street (trucks, party people, opening/closing of parking entrance, ... usual city noise). So either the airco makes noise or the street ... The bathroom may need an upgrade. It was very clean but the bath tub itself is maybe up for renovation. Shower worked fine.

First of all the hotel is great. Clean and cozy. Good location. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Pool was nice but a bit cold water. Our room was cleaned every day.

I didn't like that upon arrival they unexpectedly asked us for a deposit of 100 euros, which had to be released immediately, 2 days later the money has not been returned yet. The bathroom lacked necessary supplies. They have a great rooftop bar with a great view, but the windows were so dirty that it ruined the pleasure.
