Good value for money stopover. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a good size. The TV worked well and we watched a movie. It's an older place but it was fine. The curtains had a wee bit of mildew but otherwise it was OK.

This review is based on my brothers visit! Father and son duo , staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had a lovely scent , great water pressure in the shower the bed was very conformable , tv and Netflix for kids which was a added bonus.

Did not have a sink in the kitchen area but that was okay we made it work.

Great vibe in the pub with lovely, friendly staff and locals. Lots of space in our room and really good to have a separate bedroom for our grown-up son. Clean bedding and towels, comfy beds and seating areas, nice little kitchenette, roomy bathroom area. Good value for money.

The bathroom, especially, but the room itself is a little "tired" - although it was all perfectly adequate for a one-night stay. However, it IS a motel so expect it to be noisy!

Lovely welcome from lady who was helpful and friendly. Motel was around the back, easy parking, loads of space. Cabin comfortable and clean. Large enough for kitchen, dining table and a bathroom. Good facilities. All clean, beautifully made up. What we didn't have the lady brought over to us. Centre of town and close to the beach. Great walks nearby, all the cafés and greenstone shops. Highly recommend.

I arrived when the bar was closing and Heidi directed me to the back apartments. I had Everything I needed. Room is simple & historic which suits me. The housekeeper who let me check out later was the hostess with the mostess. Thank you😁

Bed was very comfy! Slept soundly. Room was well appointed and clean. Location is fantastic, being so close to the beach. Absolutely ideal!

Check in procedure was flawed. Lack of comms by hotel staff prior to our arrival on Xmas Day. Incorrect phone numbers provided. Managed to find a card from another room, and found a correct number. Once we got hold of someone, it was a breeze! I believe they have updated the numbers listed now though, so definitely don't let this deter you from staying here. Also, shower pressure was pathetic.

We have stayed here in the past and has always been great for what we are after. Clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Right in town and a bar for convenience. Stayed for 3 nights, we would stay here again.

We got what was expected for the price we paid, gamily of 7 in a lodge room. Was exactly how it would be in a marae. Facilities were below us easy access. The hotpools were amazing (highlight of the stay)

The stairs to the lodge were quiet steep, my mum has a bit of trouble in her right leg and it was quiet challenging for her, but we should have booked a more accessible room.

The staff were very sweet friendly and helpful, the location was close to everything walking distance to everything we visited the regent theatre a walk across the road and hokitika kiwi encounter is delightful and the local shopping and food is superb. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay 😊 and would stay again for sure. Rooms very clean.

The multi plugs need to be updated shower was ok water temp a bit funny.

The hotel did not do meals but no problem, there was a toaster so made our own breakfast. Convenient location to town so not far to walk to find a nice restaurant, ideal for short stay.

Bed was OK but could have been more comfortable needs modernizing.
