Check in snd check out process, seems really chaostic and disorganized at peak time, you should anticipate it by placing more staff, or dont allow people to negotiate price or booking room at checking counter. This is 2024 either you book online or by phone and its should be confirm before client arrive so no more negotiations at check-in,. Some people came from far away and already exhausted they need to check-in and get in to their room soon, we cant wait 30mins at check-in counter for some clients negotiating room, price etc etc

This is my second time in Medan and also in Syantika and yes this hotel is very comfortable to stay. The location is strategic and the most important thing the variety of food provided is absolutely stunning and my favourite is ceker ayam... 😋👍🫶

The staff are nice but they contacted me again eventhough i have put the sign of privacy at door and told the staf beforehand not to do the housecleaning. Maybe because of the policy or they really want me to be comfortable and have a clean room everyday but it's okay, i really mean my privacy.

The location is unbeatable- easy walk to several attractions and malls, also next to a park with a walking track. The breakfast was great and the room comfortable. The hotel was also excellent at communicating with me to book airport transfers and a late check out.

The pool could use some love- it does the job but it is looking tired

Very friendly and efficient staff member on check in. The room was spacious and had all needed facilities. The safe was locked but we didn't need to use it, so that wasn't a problem. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Both were buffet style, very good indeed and very good value.

Nothing really. Being a in Muslim area, there were no pork dishes, or bacon with breakfast but that was expected.

Had another fine stay at Santika. This hotel is first class, and the staff is world class 🏆.

Confusing to hold a confirmed reservation, but be informed that it will be automatically cancelled if not reconfirmed 24 hours before arrival. What if guests are without wifi and do not receive this message??? (Well, I’ll come back next time I’m Medan anyway).

Not enough iron for the rooms. Some food served during breakfast was not to my liking. However, it could be the way the local serve it. It is fine. No problem. There are other foods that were good.

the food was splendid! the location was strategic, mid of the city, very accessible, easy to get grab anytime of the day.

room was great however the water heater was not working in our room Lights in the room was dim

Excellent hotel,, friengly staff, veru nice and delicious breakfast and dinner buffet, nice gym, besutiful pool area, spa with massage, clean spatious room.

Internet was a bit unstable from.time to time, but was working ok.

I had an excellent stay at Santika. Super serviceminded world class staff. Nice and clean room, free bottles of water every day, facilities to make tea/coffee and a fridge in the room, comfy bed, well working wifi. Breakfast deliscious and variated. Thank you Santika, see you next time in Medan…

Quite far from big mall and eating outlets ir local nasi padang restaurante..not walking distance.. hv to go by taxi or other transport
