The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. It was explained to us about breakfast choices and how to pre-order. We also got told our room was upgraded free of charge due to availability which was a lovely surprise and cant thank them enough for doing so as they didnt have to do that! The room was very well presented and clean. Views from the hotel were amazing! Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere with views of fields but are not far at all from the town and beach, so it was lovely to get the best of it all! The breakfast selection was amazing! From a fully set up table of fruits, yoghurts, fruit juices, and cereals to an option of cooked breakfasts. Myself and my partner pre-ordered our cooked breakfasts each day, and it did not disappoint. It was such a great way to start the morning, and they also have gluten-free bread/toast as an option, which was fantastic! Staff have great knowledge of surrounding areas and were more then helpful with a map to show us the best routes (signal is hit and miss when by the sea/cliffs so it's always good to have your bearings) but signal around hotel and WiFi were spot on! We spent three nights here for a wedding and mini break. We had the best stay! Thank you for your warm welcome and beautiful stay!

Lovely location. Quiet and central to explore a number of key landmarks in that end of Cornwall. Clean, we mean CLEAN, property-not just rooms. A cozy lounge and restaurant. Incredibly dog friendly. Our lab was spoilt. Nigel and team, every single member of the team were patient, accommodating, and proactive in ensuring our comfort. We followed their suggestions to structure our days and very glad that we did. The weather precluded any possibility of exploiting the lovely walks they have all round. We are definitely coming back again in spring or summer.

Great place to stay if you want a quiet place to relax. The staff were really friendly and ready to assist with any requests, the room was spacious with a large double bed as advertised and the breakfast was great, with a lovely selection. We used it as a base to explore and it worked quite well. Would definitely recommend it!

The extractor fan in the bathroom did not work well so it was very steamy in there as there is no window. It would also have been great if the bath was cleaned every day so you could have a bath.

A great Hotel, super clean, all the staff were super helpful. Well positioned for clear and open views over the country side. Breakfasts were delicious served by very friendly staff, we had kippers on a couple of days which were the best ever.. I would definitely return to the Beacon Hotel. Fresh milk on request, complimentary Fudge, and fresh drinking water daily. Good location easy reach of secluded coves and beaches.

This is a fantastic family run hotel very close to St Agnes.We have just spent 2 wonderful nights at The Beacon. The most impressive thing is the staff, special mention to Gary who was extremely friendly and very helpful. The bedrooms(R10) are spacious and tastefully appointed.The bed was oh so comfortable consequently we had 2 great nights sleep. Breakfast is served in a lovely bright restaurant and the quality of the food is very high. Highly Recommend this hotel.

Excellent location with ample on site free parking, restaurant, bar and grounds. Kept impeccably clean by a most welcoming and helpful family management / ownership team.

Nothing ….. little touches, such as chilled water and complimentary fudge just added to a most enjoyable stay - what’s not to like?

It was in a beautiful spot with panoramic views…very quiet for sleeping . The room was furnished well and was spotlessly clean. The choice for breakfast was superb and the evening meal menu well thought out …everything was cooked to perfection

The best hotel I have ever stayed in, the staff were so lovely and welcoming which made our stay so much better. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was extremely clean. We were celebrating a special occasion and the staff gave us a card and a bottle of Prosecco which just shows just how exceptional their customer service is. They gave us advice on where to visit and the best locations to watch the sunset which was appreciated. Definitely coming back next year :)

A really excellent setting and ideally located for walking into St Agnes or towards Chapel Porth Beach or onto the Beacon and thence to the Coast Path. Also, the welcome was warm without being overbearing. We very much appreciated that side of the stay.

Superb in every regard. Everyone so pleasant. Eat all the breakfast and you'll never need to eat again. ☺️ 10/10 we loved the hotel. Wonderful seating areas outside too. We met people who return year after year. Not surprised. We'll come back. Ken and Carol Reed.
