Amazing view, wonderful breakfast, nice room with very comfortable beds and a great balcony. We also used the pool (great view from here, too) and the sauna. We very much enjoyed our stay. We also loved the fact that breakfast is available until 11am and check out is at 12 pm. Parking the car was nor problem, there is enough free car parking space along the road and in front of the hotel.

The mould in the corner of the wall in the pool area looked a bit grim and needs attention. We also though the pictures displayed in the staircases look very strange and do not fit with the overall design of the hotel. Both, however, did not lower the overall good time we had during our stay in the hotel.

You get a great view across Freiburg from your room but especially good when eating in restaurant. Staff were great...especially in the dining room. In fact all the cleaners and maintainance staff spoke and were pleasant. Breakfast a bit expensive but....it was outstanding. Parking a little tight but we did find somewhere every day.

Its a bit out of the centre so we needed our car to get around but in reality getting around Freiburg and car parking in the City weren't an issue and being out of the centre means you get that awesome view!

The hotel's location was perfect. You can see all of Freiburg from above and many hiking trails are right next to the hotel. Bike rentals are available and we cycled in the Black Forest's trails and even took them all the way to the city center. Very enjoyable. Moreover, for two days in a row, I opted to eat dinner in the hotel's restaurant rather than elsewhere. Comfortable setting, delicious food (I ate the Sea bass two days in a row), and attentive staff.

The hotel is located on a hill ,so there was no places close to it that can be reached on foot. Getting to the city center takes approximately 10 minutes by car.

The staff was amazing, very friendly and kind. Helpful. beautiful view from everywhere in the building. Rooms were clean and comfy.

The hotel was hot. I believe the heaters were still on. The awning on the balkony worked and than it didn't and than it started working again. The hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work.

The accommodation was wonderful, very clean, and the room was spacious enough, and the view from our room was amazing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Laundry items cost very expensive. We found travelling overseas to Europe from Australia there was no reasonably priced laundry facilities

restaurant was good but very expensive no restaurants near by so you need a car to get to city center

Very nice hotel with the best view of the city. The pool and sauna are good and open until midnight - that is a big bonus! The rooms are comfortable and the view from the balcony is very nice. The staff is friendly and always reachable. The restaurant is very nice, but rather expensive - it is however worth the price, if you are up to it.

- should be aware that it is about 1 km to the old city and a selection of eating/shopping locations - the return walk has a good climb with a great trail as long as you enjoy walking - hotel restaurant was not open on Sundays

The location is very nice. We travelled with our dog and he was everywhere welcome. The morning walk could just start behind the hotel because the forest is reaching the hotel.

The bathroom is very small. I'm really curious how some oversized people are able to use the toilet ???.
