Everything worked as it should. Quick check-in and a clean spacious nicely decorated room. It was February and cold outside, but the room was well heated. A bit chilly in the bathroom, but still OK. Not my first stay here, everything as expected.

The breakfast was a disappointment. It's underground and the wall paintings cannot make up for this. Selection very limited. Nothing warm except coffee. One type cheese, one type of meat. Clearly room for improvement. There are many cafes around the hotel with a much better offer.

The hotel is conveniently situated in the town of Frascati within easy walking distance to the railway station where excellent and very cheap trains take you to the centre of Rome in 30 minutes. An excellent bus service connects to the Rome Metro and to the neighbouring towns in the Castelli Romana. The hotel cafe/bar was closed for holiday on this occasion but there are numerous others close by. The hotel is clean and comfortable and provides a good buffet breakfast with freshly made coffee on demand.

The location is perfect in the heart of Frascati. Unbeatable. It is a good hotel, especially if you are travelling for work. My room had a desk which I always appreciate.

It doesn't have a lift (but the staff is always happy to help with the luggage - thank you!). The ladies serving breakfast (at least the ones I met) don't speak English but make good cappuccino, so they are forgiven :-) The rooms could use a renovation soon.

Excellent location close to the train (although the number of steps to the main road means a taxi is necessary for people with suitcases) restaurants and interesting shops. Breakfast was satisfactory. The room was good, particularly the bathroom. Staff members were very helpful.

We were on the second floor which did not have lift access.

The hotel was walking distance from the Frascati station. Luca, the attendant was very friendly, waited for our late check-in. The room was traditional and okay.

The room did not have air conditioning, as mentioned in the booking. The air conditioning was not allowed by the owner in general in the months of our stay. Breakfast did not include any eggs and was limited.

The hotel is close to the central square, and breakfast has a nice ambiance. There was not too much noise outside the windows, so one could sleep well.

The shower was extremely small and mould was growing in some corners. The door was in disrepair and needed a lot of coaxing to shut properly. There was no elevator.

Great location and feels like a familiar place. I had an accident in the shower and staff was very diligent in helping and assisting me.

The air conditioning doesn’t work constantly or based on guest preferences, apparently it is centrally controlled. The staff’s English proficiency could be improved

Very friendly and competent staff. Always welcoming. Brought our luggage up to our room from downstairs. Central and very beautiful location. Very convenient to train into Rome. Very comfortable outside terrace. Quiet at night. Good beds. Good breakfast.

We would have appreciated some comfortable furniture (armchairs or sofa) in the Junior Suite after a long day of hiking. There is a hotel bar/cafe but it’s opening hours were unclear.

Colonna is a very nice hotel. My room was very nice, the bed and pillows very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. My only complaint is that the shower cabin was small and it is not comfortable taking a shower in there. But it is not a terrible thing, the good thing was that the water pressure was perfect and the shampoo nice :) The breakfast is very nice, nothing exotic but with many choices and excellent quality.
