Enthusiastic thumbs up: 2 very clean sparkling pools - the large one 82 degrees, the med-size at 92 degrees (ahhhh) and one indoor mineral hot spa, lots of towels available in pool area and room. Mineral water dispensers around to fill up to your heart's content, lovely spacious King (room 210), refillable toiletries from Malin & Goetz, two cans in room for trash and recyclables, adorable 50's style electric kettle and aqua mini-fridge, interesting instant pour-over bags of Vietnamese coffee, excellent layered room lighting, friendly thoughtful reception service at the front desk - Rocky, David, Jose. We found a lovely birthday card for hubby Bob in the room with a discount for two slices of pie at House of Better on the premises. Sadly, no pie that day but we got muffins. Nice breakfast of avocado toast and egg muffin (not included in room price, though).

I wish there were fewer disposables used, I wish the closet space were separate from the bath area so it would be accessible when one of us had to close the bathroom door. Or that the toilet area had its own door instead. I wish the heating controls worked when we got chilly in the morning. But, all in all, this resort is a very fine and fun place to stay in Calistoga where you don't have to bring all your money, just some of it :-)

Absolutely wonderful place to be during a special week of reunion and watercolor workshop with Barbara Nechis. I could not have been most pleased with Dr. Wilkinson's. Our room was in the Victorian Cottage. The hands down most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Great water!All the good things you could want or need and more! Not to mention being in the heart of the downtown district. So happy 😁

Love the mid century, modern retro decor. The rooms were clean and comfortable and cozy. The bar was nice. The staff was friendly.

There is no cell service at the wineries. We Uber to an event in the evening. When we went to leave the event, we realized there was no way to communicate with anyone to get picked up. The pools and grounds are gorgeous, and the food at House of Better is creative and incredible (we particularly loved the green and red chile sauces). We had a wonderfully relaxing time, including lying in the hammocks, eating on the patio, swimming in the cold pool, and soaking in the hot pool.

The music could have been a bit quieter at points! It's kind of omnipresent around the grounds and pool areas.

The breakfast and coffee was great! We enjoyed the two hot pools and the lounging area. Having two queen size beds in our room was excellent for my best friend and I to share a room.

The extra spa experiences were way out of our budget and seemed overpriced. It would be nice to have a few less pricey options to make the stay special.

The massage was top notch, the hot mineral pool was amazing, the outside vibe was cool. It was raining so we didn’t get to hang out there but it would’ve been so fun. Beds were super comfy.

It was a bit noisy. We could hear people talking into the wee hours of the morning. The rooms are close to the pools so the potential for noise is high.

Updated, friendly, everything was close in the location itself, great location on the Main Street. Lots of fun things to do.

I wish there was a bathroom that was inside the pool areas. It’s very strange to be in your robe walking through the lobby to use the bathroom! Also the breakfast menu was limited. I was hoping for pancakes!

I loved the vibe of the resort. From check in until check out, it's all about relaxing and enjoying your time there. I would happily stay there again. We took advantage of the restaurant, pools, and the spa. I loved the size of the room and how comfortable the bed was.

Only complaint was that our room had an adjoining door and we could hear the people next door through it. Made us a little self conscience but put on music so as to feel more private.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the site had personality and the pools were excellent, well kept, plenty of lounging room. Overall a relaxing, welcoming, special experience.

I would have liked some sort of complimentary coffee/tea setup in the morning, rather than the coffee packets in our room. But I did appreciate the high quality teas and (working!) kettle in my room.

Loved the hot spa tub and breakfast at the cafe. Plus the wonderful water, we were so well hydrated!! And thanks for the sweet pink water bottles!

Wish the hot tub would have opened earlier as we had an early departure and would have liked a morning soak.
