We were upgraded to a larger room. The property is central to so many things - Launceston, Cradle Mountain, chocolates, honey, raspberries, dairy, caves. There is even a good restaurant on site, and walking distance from the commercial area.

The room took a long time to warm up.

Our room was clean and tidy, basic facilities available. There is a restaurant on site which serves meals (dinner), these were reasonably priced. It is located a bit out of town so you have to drive into town if you want anything. Staff were absolutely lovely, couldn't do enough for us. Parking available straight out the front of our room. Great value for money.

The motel was in the process of being painted and the painters arrived early to paint which a bit noisy. The people in the room beside us got up even earlier and decided to have a conversation directly in front of our room - we know this is out of control of the motel. But just be aware that noise could be an issue

Highly recommended for short stay looking for comfort, cleanliness, convenience and well maintained facilities accommodation. I was so happy to be able to check in at 9am arrival with my earlier flight 6am. Also staff are friendly. The environment is great. We are able to enjoy relaxing in outdoor day and night.

Maybe add flyscreen to main door. So door can be kept opened with natural ventilation and kee flies out

It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Quiet location, easy parking.

We arrived after reception had closed (we’d let them know) and there were keys in a mailbox but no names attached to the keys. We hadn’t received a message about which room was ours, so weren’t sure what to do. Apart from that little hiccup, it was very comfortable and we’d stay again.

Great location and view, staff very nice and helpful. It was very nice to have laundry facilities on the premises.

Only disappointment was that the restaurant wasn’t open the 2 nights we were there, however the staff gave us a brilliant recommendation that was very close and so good we went there both nights.

This little place was recommended to us as great value for money and it was. The hostess was a lovely lady and really cheerful. The rooms, though dated, were spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. There's a restaurant on site that I'd heard was good, but closed on the day we were there (everyone needs a day off sometime). There are other options for food in Deloraine.

On arrival the staff were welcoming, warm and friendly. The room was large and bright and clean. Unfortunately the 'spa bath' in the room was out of order but the large roomy shower was great. The queen bed was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable and the heater worked well. Tea, coffee and milk provided. 'Settlers' on site restaurant was lovely, the staff were great, the service was great. The food was fresh and tasty.

Everything was perfect.

The staff was so friendly, the room was old fashioned but clean and big, and the location was good for our purposes, we basically just overnight there.

Heather works fine and it's not old at all, but it is not enough for the second room, so it will be great having an additional one for the second room even if it's a small one. However, the room was fine, clean and well maintained, for sure it will be my option in the future 😉

The Mountain View Country Inn is perfect for a stop over in the Deloraine, it's in a great position for exploring the area. The rooms are older looking but very clean and usable. Loved the on-site restaurant, we had roast of the day and the sweet potato and cashew curry and both meals were delicious and well portioned.

this little motel is one of the best places to stay before heading further west or up to cradle mountain. Deloraine is such a cute little town and its placement among other facilities cannot be beaten. Close to woolies, breakfast spots, walking trails and quintessentially tasmanian.

We had a view of the back fence, and while it wasn't about the view, it does make the room darker in the morning.
