Our chalet was quiet, restful and contained all the facilities we needed. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The grounds were pleasant to walk around and the staff were polite, informative, and helpful. The position is excellent being only 15 minutes from Launceston centre, but being on a hill overlooking the Tamar River it's a perfect, peaceful, and convenient escape.

Only one small issue. A tap in the bathroom basin had a small leak, possibly just a washer needing replacement, which I reported to the desk staff on departure to allow maintenance.

An excellent stay in the ‘Boutique Studio’ - not sure I would call it a boutique studio. It is more of a timber Amex but it was exceptionally comfortable for our one night stop and the grounds were lovely to walk in. It was excellent value for money. And would recommend. Lovely countryside around. There is a lovely backstory to this resort - stepping back to Europe. Lots of facilities we didn’t use. Staff were fantastic

Nothing - just the term boutique studio is a little misleading against uk. But don’t be put off from a lively night at great value

Lovely location. Nice surprise to find guest laundry. And supplied soap! When travelling on a motorbike with limited space a laundry was very welcome. Recommend adding this to website and booking.com for extra information. Did not like bed right next to doorway into chalet. Would have been better to have table there. Used bed in 2nd room... Spa and shower taps had been turned off too tight. Difficult to undo.Spa jets had 8 missing jets. Bathroom had a smell to it. Recommend booking at bistro. We didn't book and nearly missed out however they did manage to fit us in to eat at the bar.. Food was fantastic. Loved the wildlife wandering around..

The cabin was quite roomy, very clean, and had a comfortable big bed. The bathroom is very roomy, and the bed/lounge area has nice views. The deck is also lovely, with high bar-stools to enhance the view over the lake. There are also lots of geese, turbo-chooks, & ducks, and evidence of pademelons that call the resort home! The Alpenrose Bisto was very pleasant with good value meals.

The maintenance is a little lacking- things like the loo-roll holder falling off the wall, the hand towel holder being very loose, some wear/tear/burn marks in the kitchen lino, loose lino in the bathroom, etc. Nothing major, but a bit of TLC would go a long way.

Apartments are just right size and location is great. Shops great and restaurant is lovely and very handy on location.. been before and would go again.

The pool was to busy. Too small for size of resort and had to walk through reception where if opened side door would be eaiser access. Also sign says no balls and kids with balls were in there and no one came to tell them no plus a lot of families had inflatablez which was silly for how small pool was and how many were using it. Needs more monitoring or unscaled.. wifi is also very patchy but prob not hotel fault

Room was clean and large. Bed was comfy and the kitchenette was well supplied. The girls on the front desk were very friendly! Easy to early checkout just drop the key in the container at the door. Parking available outside the rooms. Good value for the price. I only stayed briefly overnight as competing in a sport not far away, would be nice to have more time to explore the resort next time.

The only thing to dislike was the outside light was on and it shone through the blinds making the room quite lit up during the night.

The food and staff in the bistro were amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great activities for the kids. Great location Beautiful views from the gazebo, a short walk up the hill. Tamarhorn lookout. Plenty of parking Bakery had a good variety and was delicious

The small details in the room, they need updating and a little more maintaining. The kitchen covering were coming away, the shower screen could be lengthened or a curtain that goes around the whole bath, and a new paint job to cover up the marks and refresh the rooms.

we had 2 meals at the resturant that were excellant. The pool was great as was the spa pool. The grounds are amazing. Our group would definitely stay again.

The shower dripped and there was a constant pool of water on the bathroom floor. The tiles were patched. Asthetically bathroom needs updating but this did not detract from our stay. Could not find a broom or carpet sweeper which would have been handy as debris got walked in from outside.

Great location. The property has so much to offer. We loved going for morning and evening walks around the lake, saw plenty of kangaroos and bunnies on our walks. The atmosphere was serene and lively.

Just a nitty bit, the rust was quite visible in the bathrooms, showing the age of the room. And the lighting was so dim, even at night you couldn't clearly see in the room.

The room was undoubtedly cozy, with a bed comfortable enough to lull you to sleep and a doona that kept you warm throughout the night. However, I noticed that some of the power points in the lounge room were in dire need of an update, as they posed a safety risk.

Additionally, the non-existent internet connection was disappointing, as it was not up to par with what I had expected. I shared my data with my roommates. The washing machine was available at some stage and has been removed. It would have been quite convenient to have it available for use during the stay.
