We were given a stunning view of the river, which was absolutely beautiful at sunrise! The room was spacious, with a balcony where we could sit and relax while taking in the view. Overall, it was a clean and roomy space.

The bed was too high for us and too soft, which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Additionally, the hotel is quite far from restaurants and shops, so having a car is necessary to get around. The nearest supermarket is about 18 minutes away. The slope leading to the rooms was very steep, making it difficult to carry our luggage up.

The rooms were very comfortable, and the bed even more comfy! The heaters worked very well and heated the rooms in no time. The spa out on the deck was relaxing to sit in after a long day exploring the countryside

There were good sized smart TVs in both bedrooms and the lounge, however the wifi wasn’t working, apparently due to recent storms. This meant we couldn’t sign into Netflix etc and were limited to free to air tv. The other issue is the room was advertised by booking.com to have a pool, there is no pool at this property!

We stayed in a group, and everyone was able to book independently to suit their dates and room size (ie family of four, couples). Location was perfect, views were lovely, rooms are so new and well appointed. We ate at the hotel two nights, very convenient, great food and an inviting open fire. All up, an excellent place. The views from the hotel rooms were absolutely spectacular. The rooms were tidy, clean and well furnished and plenty of parking available on site. Great wifi too.

The restaurant could have a better menu. We were there for 3 days and every night they did not have what we ordered from the menu. The staff at the restaurant weren’t fully aware of what was on offer and the specials.

Room was clean, housekeeping done every day. Great quiet location looking over Tamar River. Excellent meals in restaurant, friendly staff and meals reasonably priced.

Didn't like the very steep slope we had to pull our ports up to get to our room. Fridge was turned off when we arrived and didn't work very well but was brought to staffs attention Would have liked a swimming pool.

The location was superb. A fabulous view of the Tamar River a beautiful spot. About 20 minutes from Launceston, it was the perfect place to end our holiday. The food in the restaurant was to be recommended (booking advised) and the room was serviced every day. A small problem was dealt with promptly and fixed. I would recommend this Hotel and would stay again on our next visit to Tasmania.

The on-site bakery would have been useful, unfortunately it was closed. But it did not matter as everything else was great.

Everthing. This hotel located besides the beatiful river, the environment around is so great. The location is not related to any public transportation but we have our own car, so it won't be a problem. It has plenty parking place. Room is warm and cozy and has great view from the balcony. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Fabulous peaceful location looking out over the river. Modern, clean rooms, with very comfy bed. We didn't want to be in the heart of Launceston so this was perfect for us. The restaurant was a convenience we appreciated after a big travel day. We enjoyed visiting the Turners Gin distillery nearby for a tasting.

Fabulous view. Love the room with the outdoor spa. The spa is perfect for two, nice and warm even when its cold outside. Looking over the beautiful Tamar river. Nice and quiet room with comfortable bed and pillows. Nice size shower with separate removable shower head. Nice large television. Basic amenities for overnight stay. Hotel do nice pub meals with friendly staff. Very friendly and quick checkin and out service. Lovely view from they hotel. Easy to find and easy to park.

No sink to wash dishes up in. Not enough power points. Not enough butter, Vegemite or jam for breakfast.

The room was good..The bed was excellent loved to know the brand of mattress forgot to look so comfortable..The hot tub out the front overlooking the Tamar was relaxing and very clean..The food at the pub was also good a good range to choose from and service was quick and polite..2nd time staying will be back..🙂

Hopefully they get someone for the bakery sad it wasn't open..🙂
