Crosswinds Inn was absolutely perfect for our 3 night stay and exploration of Yellowstone. The complimentary coffee, tea, and cookies, helped us feel fueled and at-home during our stay. The breakfast each morning was perfect for our early mornings before entering the park. Everyone who works at the property is totally lovely. Our rooms were cleaned every day without compromise, and we were so comfortable and happy. Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

On the first night, the jacuzzi wasn't very warm, but we gave it another try on night 2 and it was excellent. May have been a one-day issue!

Comfortable bed. Nice amenities in the room. Very nice staff people. Way better than average provided hotel free breakfast! Although the price is high for the room, at least they are putting what appears to be a lot of effort into the staff service and amenities.

No closet (motel style) or storage of any kind, so it was fine for us for one night, but would be harder if we planned to stay longer. Also, where the hotel is located is not a very nice area, but that's not anything that the hotel can do anything about, so it's not on them. However, it's easy walking distance to many restaurants. Long waits once there because of crowds, and it's not even high tourist season yet!

Good variety of hot and cold breakfast, clean comfortable room the only exception was insufficient seating would liked to have a full length sofa instead of a single ottoman + sofa and a desk chair. In that sense the room does feel smaller. But great amenities, clean fresh towels, appears to be recently renovated and is definitely a well maintained premises in general. Kudos! Should mention they have an unusually large wine bottle opener on the wall that I didn't notice as a listed amenity.

Nothing to dislike!

The location of Crosswinds was perfect for us visiting Yellowstone if you're not staying within the Park. We really liked our room, nicely decorated, plenty of room and a nice bathroom and the bed was very comfortable.

The internet was next to useless and enquiring at the office why it was so bad, I was told they had no idea and really were not interested. The breakfast was terrible, everything was loaded with sugar and ALL the plates, cutlery and cups were throw away in one bin!!! No recycling at all and seriously, can't the staff wash dishes any more? The plastic and paper are horrid to eat off and the plastic knives snap so you have to use several to get the job done. We have a world crisis on rubbish pollution, it's astonishing that America appears to not care about this?

Excellent location close to everything in town and 5 min from the West Yellowstone entrance. They also let you borrow bear spray so you don’t have to rent from a store or buy any which is a must if you plan to visit the park and hike any trail. Don’t be unprepared!

Only thing I personally didn’t like was the water pressure in the shower and the shower head itself. That’s just me being picky. It’s still a shower and it got hot so don’t let it deter you from booking here.

I recently stayed at this motel just outside of Yellowstone National Park, and it was a fantastic experience! The location is perfect for easy access to the park, making it super convenient for early starts or late returns. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The beds, in particular, were great—I had an excellent night’s sleep after long days of exploring. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with plenty of options that were delicious and satisfying. Overall, this motel made my Yellowstone trip even better, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Walking distance to restaurants and across the street from a city park. Close to the entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Housekeeping every day. It was nice to come back to a clean room. Incredible breakfast with a lot of options including fresh grapefruit, apples, oranges, bananas, Yoplait yogurt, Nutella packets, pancake maker, Biscuits-and Gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and much more. Refrigerator in room.

I wish they had larger bottles of shampoo instead of the small individual use bottles. It would be nice if there were larger bottles of shampoo and conditioner attached to the shower wall.

rooms were clean; we were in an upstairs room with kids - carpet was "thick" which helped dampen foot traffic sound; breakfast had staples (eggs, breads, sausage, bacon) - i can't understate how convenient this is especially for a large family; just show up, eat and go early into the park! we didn't try the pool/hot tub but would have loved to if we had time; location was great - can't go wrong here since the town is small and can walk to different places.

Location was primary, Yellowstone's entrance is about 2 blocks away. It was clean, a little dated, but well kept. Unlike other hotels they actually make up the room each day! Easy walking distance to stores and restaurants. Breakfast was good and as it started at 6am, excellent for an early start at the park.

No high speed wifi, lots of lag in tv streaming. We had a 1st floor room, noise from those on the 2nd floor. Not enough plugs or spaces to set things. These are minor concerns... Pricy for the facilities offered but that is Yellowstone and we were pleased with the accomodation.

Breakfast. I can’t eat gluten and none of the staff were able to tell me what I could and couldn’t eat (I was told you probably know better than us). This left some fairly dubious fruit and yoghurt as the only safe options. When there was a full cooked buffet, at least some of which I probably could have eaten had someone been able to tell me what was safe for me, this was very disappointing. Particularly as there was no yoghurt on the second day. It shouldn’t be hard to train staff in these basics so customers with dietary restrictions can actually eat.
