Inviting lobby, nice courtyard to walk across to rooms (can’t imagine in the winter, though!,) room and beds comfortable. Good space for our belongings and us not to feel cramped. Liked the beverages in room off lobby; nice place to sit on our way to the room. Location; easy to walk around town. The tv wasn’t working twice during an important football (from which we raced back from Yellowstone!) and the staff was readily available and very pleasant.)

Courtyard was conducive to two women talking loud at 7:30! The coffee is way too strong and no decaf. Hot chocolate the best I’ve ever had.

We didn’t intend to stay in this area but wanted to see more of the town. West Yellowstone is quite charming. This is our second stay at the White Buffalo, we considered other hotel/motels but had such a great experience here that we just had to stay again. I recommend this place to everyone! Rooms are clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is outstanding. Made, not heated up prepackaged food. Kudos to all staff doing a great job! Staff are friendly and very helpful! Thank you for a pleasant stay!

This hotel was PRECIOUS. Located in the cute little town of West Yellowstone convenient to a few restaurants, gas stations, and lots of shops. Parking is right across the street - there are only 2 floors but no elevators so heads up if you have someone handicapped traveling with you. The hotel is historic and old but very clean and well kept. Rooms had clean sheets/towels and excellent AC. Breakfast buffet for 2 is included in your stay and the ladies at breakfast always take great care of guests to keep the area clean and the buffet full. Front desk folks were kind as well. Nice little patio area outside the back for a picnic or indoor cafeteria style room with vending and coffee. 10/10 recommend staying here if you’re looking for an antiquated, vintage stay with great food & amenities and close to the West Yellowstone entrance.

Water for shower we have to use ice bucket to bathe, because shower hardly had water coming out but only cold, no good at all . Hair dryer mounted close to mirror but cord to short. It would have been better if it’s mounted close to bathroom room door. Hard to find parking and its raining at 1030pm. I have to park all the way to cross winds area. For the price I expect a decent warm shower and not use ice bucket to collect water because not enough pressure for shower we are in room 218. My daughter had quite a laugh though reminded her the TABO used for bathing in the Philippines.

We liked cleanliness, location, and free breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was nice to have a fridge as well. The shower worked great.

The only thing I did not like was the pillows. They were not comfortable and were too big for me. It could be just me, and for a big guy, they would probably work fine.

My husband has severe medical sensitivity to smells and chemicals. The clerk showed us the room before we booked so that we could tell if it would be acceptable. It didn't smell! That was awesome. Thanks for using fragrance free cleaners and laundry. We greatly appreciate the help after a long travel day!

The cooler could be upgraded to a thermostat model for easier use.

Room was clean and spacious, everything for the age of the hotel was in good repair and working properly. Breakfast was good as well.

They could've told us at check-in that breakfast was only included for two even though we had 4 listed on our reservation. Kind of backhanded way of getting extra money in my opinion. At least make it known prior to walking up in line.

Although it is an older facility, they have renovated it, It was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable, however before long they will need to be replaced. All in all, This was a very pleasant surprise as we booked sight unseen. The location was close to town. The staff was phenomenal. The breakfast was top-notch, quite frankly, was superior to some of the best hotels that we have been at!

Breakfast was phenomenal. Staff was friendly and always had smiles for you in the morning. Great selection of food.

The only complaint is that the shower water pressure would go down and the water would turn ice cold. Then you would adjust the knob to get warmer water, then it would turn scalding hot. I believe that the system needs upgrading for the size of the hotel. I heard others complaining about it while in line at breakfast. Also, make sure that you specify that you want a refrigerator and microwave in your room when you make a reservations.

The breakfast was excellent and included. Large room and excellent facility. Staff was friendly and decor was charming.

The t.v. wouldn't work at night but worked in morning. The parking was a little tight but found a place and worked out well. Breakfast opens later than is ideal but worth waiting for.
