Herman was extremely friendly. Offered us help when required. Went out of his way to bring a braai closer to main house. Great secure parking and lovely areas to sit outside.

A little more TLC, larger towels for ladies, and more than 1 towel, Hand soap would be great and a larger bin for rubbish disposal. And a bin in each room. a place where you could wash your dishes would also be nice. Having said that, i would definitely return and recommend this spot to others.

Really enjoy the atmosphere of Vlettershof, welcoming, cozy and we'll thought out with improvements everytime I visit again. There rooms serve different needs from full self catering to simple sleep over and go. Enjoyed the first coffee on the house and getting some work done in the lounge. It's a place to get a quality night sleep or enjoying catching up on some streaming. The internet connection is importing and serves most needs. Looking forward to my next visit.

Some rooms are more exposed to the neighbours and it can get a bit noisy if one of the neighbours dogs decides they must let everyone know they are awake. If it's cold, the rooms can be a bit chilly so if traveling in winter bring long PJs and ask for an extra blanket before bed.

Value for money was excellent. We had a rainy evening but still did a Braai and the owner was kind enough to join us for a drink which gave us greater knowledge of the area . It’s a lovely I think colonial house with lots of character . Probably need a car to enjoy the many interesting things to do in the area . One needs to do the wine train from Robertson station.

Exactly what we needed for an overnight stay between Mossel Bay and Cape Town. Was very comfortable and felt very safe with a safe place to park our car overnight. Owners were so friendly and helpful and location was perfect.

Only small suggestion, but not major, was that washing the dishes was a little awkward but again, not major, because we could use the bathroom sink. Might just help to have some sunlight liquid to use for cleaning.

We were en route and just stayed in Robertson to rest and sleep, but it’s a beautiful town. We followed Herman’s suggested for dinner, The Four Cousins, which was well worth it!

The room was a big small.

Very nice hosts, and clean place. There's a really nice dog, Jack that adds extra charm to the place. The house is in a calm area, with parking in the back yard , which is convenient. We were there on a Sunday night, so not much going on in town. The host recommended a local steakhouse/pub that was open until late, and where we had a decent meal and saw some locals.

The owner and management was very personalised, where he even messaged us to check in on us during the day to find out whether we are still safe. Their little doggy was also amazing.

We enjoyed everything about the stay and was very comfortable.

The cleanliness of the room, the interior decoration and friendly welcome by the owner and Jack (his dog).

We only needed a bed to sleep for the night, so the small seating arrangement in the room was a bit cramped. But on the other hand, if we arrived earlier, we would have been able to relax inside the common areas or outside in the garden.

Very friendly hosts that go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They offered some advice regarding fabulous places to visit in the area. Centrally located to many winefarms. There is backup power when load shedding happens.

The natural lighting in the room is a bit low.

Very nice set up in Robertson. Our room had all the amenities needed. Parking is private and safe for your car. Many dining options not too far. Herman was a great host and I would likely come back 👍😊
