Check-in was contactless, and the directions to access room were clear. Beautiful room (Sequoia suite) in a beautiful area. Well beyond our expectations, room had quaint little touches with a sitting area in room, and outside door on porch, and a gas fireplace that is the center of the room. King sized bed, kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker with all the necessary items for coffee, along with bottled water and snacks. Bathroom had a spa tub, and lovely amenities like fancy soap, and shampoo & conditioner. Blow dryer mounted on wall, and a shaving mirror too! This place has everything you need. Let's talk ambiance. This lovely little set of cabins is so well maintained, you can be assured a good cabin no matter which room you choose. Several Lovely areas to sit and enjoy nature, and easy to walk to main house where breakfast is served. Beautiful dining area serving a great continental selection including Oatmeal, cereal, fruit, muffins, bagels and in the freezer there were waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and burritos! Juice, milk, oatmilk, and a fully stocked coffee and tea bar with all the necessities! This place went out of it's way to think of anything needed. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know!

Directions to parking area in rear could have been clearer. Street makings could have had addresses/suite names alongside street, perhaps a sign at Buckeye with an arrow to turn there for parking. (This was our first trip to Shaver Lake, so we were unfamiliar with area)

I have stayed there in the past. This was the first time that I stayed in the main common space. Breakfast was very good. The breakfast room was very clean and spacious.

The upstairs bathroom was a bit small. But perfectly clean. Every inch of space was well used in that bathroom. There is no getting around from climbing stairs. So if you are wheelchair bound or have to use a walker it would be difficult.

The breakfast was excellent both mornings. Having many choices of fresh fruit and baked breads and cookies. Along with a special menu cooked breakfast. The choice of coffee,tea, soda and juices were very well stocked. And the Mimosas were fabulous! The Inn was centrally located near restaurants and shops.

You just have to be very careful going down the stairs through the garden to get to the common areas. They were well built and safe, however, I was traveling with a blind person and that was the only obstacle. But she did very well.

Charming cabin-style lodging. Comfy and nicely decorated. Super nice new proprietors. Good, home cooked breakfast.

The price was high (summer weekend), and it is on the main road so there was some traffic noise. It is a wonderful place to stay in this area but doesn’t live up to the chi chi “boutique” label or the price I paid. It is, however, a perfectly lovely woodsy inn.

Breakfast was wonderful. Loved that it was self check in because we arrived late evening and we couldn’t get phone reception to inform the staff of late arrival. Room and bed were comfy and more than adequate space for our things. Also had a nice welcome snack and drinks. Reception area had tea/coffee at your disposal, which was nice when you’re coming in late.

The shower in our room was a little tight.

We loved our stay in the Cedar Suite! It was so cute and cozy. We really appreciated all the amenities that were thoughtfully provided.

Could have used extra towels in the room.

Self serve breakfast and snacks with lots of options to choose from. Quite surroundings, ease of parking, chatting with other guests

Everything about this place was amazing. Location, room was perfect, clean, spacious for me and my husband, we really enjoyed our stay all around.

It was excellent all round. The owners were friendly. They served healthy hot home cooked breakfast. The room was quiet and perfect for a couple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

The space to park was a little bit of a challenge to get to for our large SUV but nothing to complain about. It was still accessible and a benefit.

The Elliot's were amazing hosts and cooks! Food was yummy and generous- very unexpected surprise!!
