WE want to thank the property for checking us in early, it was really a game changer for our holiday. we appreciated it so much to be able to profit from the whole day. We did not get a room with a view, we got one with a back porch RIGHT in the woods and we loved it... we came to be in nature and thats what we got. The room was an awesome layout and we got a brand new grill upon requesting it! the downstairs AC wasn't really working and the downstairs TV didnt have any channels to fall asleep to, and could have used a boost to be able to see it. otheriwise would love to come back to this specific room.

the downstairs AC wasn't really working and the downstairs TV didnt have any channels to fall asleep to, and could have used a boost up higher to be able to see it as it was too low. otheriwise would love to come back to this specific room.

I loved the proximity to the lake. The cabin rooms were very rustic and roomy. Designated parking at the chalet made unloading easy. The deck was a nice extension of the indoor space and offered scenic views. Having the adjoining room door in both the cabin and the deck, was great way to make the two chalets feel like one. Everything was within walking distance, which was very convenient.

The parking could have been better for checking in and for the restaurant area. We did have to circle a bit before we found a spot. Beach access was a little smaller than expected, making it crowded at times as well.

Pines Resort is perfectly located! Easy to access main road for Yosemite and nearby towns. The lake was only steps away and Ducey's Bar and Grill was amazing! We also visited the Pines Bar which was a lot of fun too!

Our room did not have a view of the lake so next time we will look for one that does have one or maybe even spend more for a suite. It was quite a hike to and from the pool/spa/bars but a little exercise didn't hurt - there was more than enough parking so we could have always drove if it truly bothered us. The cabin was dated and a lot of the resort was getting repaired for when the season officially opens. I'm sure we would have experienced so much more if we stayed more towards the middle of May. A lot of activities and shops were also closed during the week so next time we will look to stay on a weekend or in peak season.

The resort is a great place to stay and unwind . The views are lovely the staff were really friendly and very accommodating. Our Chalet was furthest away from pool and restaurant but we preferred this and still all within a 3/4 min walk. The chalet was clean, perhaps a little dated but this just added to the charm. The main bed was downstairs and mega comfy. The pool was great and the shop onsite helped to make our stay easy. The restaurant on site was the best meal we had during our three week stay touring America.

Sofa bed not comfy.

Loved the amenities in the chalet; it had everything. The only issue is that it is definitely not ADA friendly and the stairs in front and down to the bedroom were difficult. Staff everywhere were all amazing!

The resort is not for the disabled, older, or people using walkers. We saw a lot of people struggling, and would not recommend anyone physically limited to stay here.

Location by the lake was great. Staff were friendly and attentive. Adjacent store was handy. Rented a kayak which was fun and a great way to explore the lake.

I didn’t get a whole lot of explanation about the amenities on offer. I ate at the upstairs venue on the desk, which was a great outlook, but was promptly reminded by staff they were closing the deck at 8pm. I appreciate it was one day after the end of the holiday season, but paying guests deserve a better experience than that.

we were in one of the Chalets with a lake view!! We were able to dine at Deuce's after check in. The next morning, we walked down to the coffee shop. We had bought groceries at the Lake Market, next door for bfst. A cute little strip mall next to the hotel. We had been to Yosemite, and arriving to Bass Lake was relaxing.

The Chalet signs were a bit hard to follow. The staff was available to assist. We had a map to guide us. Once we found our assigned Chalet, It was amazing.!!!

Beautiful grounds, great swimming pool, loved all the shops and restaurants on site. The chalets were spacious, cozy, and very enjoyable to stay in

Our room wasn’t ready until 5 after we asked for an early check in. The pool did not restock towels and no clean up in bathrooms or pool area. Lots of garbage around the resort.

Really enjoyed the cabin, the beds were extremely comfortable. I also liked the fully stocked kitchen and the fact that you could access most streaming services on the tv. Also close walk to the lake and the shops. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

There was just a few things that could have improved. There was dirty silverware up in the loft, a very strong cleaning smell that we had to air out, and a bent towel bar, but overall very good. Also couldn't get breakfast at the restaurant because it was so crowded and short staffed. We waited 15 minutes at the hostess stand with nobody helping us (ended up leaving and going somewhere else) but at night we had a reservation and got right in, excellent food and service.

The location, the nearby restaurants

The layout of the room was weird. There is a loft which is empty and both beds are in the basement. I also really hated the amount of spam messages they sent and continue to send. I've got something like 10 messages advertising other things going on when I'm not even there. For the price of the room, this is unacceptable behavior imo.
