My stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. I arrived early in the morning, around 8 AM, and the staff immediately prioritized getting my room ready. They kindly invited me to enjoy breakfast while I waited, and within just two hours, my room was prepared — all without any extra charge for early check-in. The restaurant was excellent, and the food was exceptional. Both the pool bar and the main bar were fantastic as well. A special thank you to Mr. Michalis, the manager, who personally assisted me — he was simply amazing. The entire hotel team was incredibly professional and attentive. From the waiters, chefs, and receptionists to the maintenance staff, everyone went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I honestly felt like a VIP throughout my stay. I’m truly grateful for their warm hospitality and outstanding service. Thank you all so much!"**

The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet. The staff is excellent, as well as the big pool. The food for this price was nice, what I petsonally missed was a larger variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. It is easy to use the public transport, you just have to walk to the main road (cc 7-8 minutes).

Altough the hotel is just at the seaside, at this part of Crete there are no nice beaches since it under WWF protection regarding the sea turtles that go there to lay down their eggs. For the really nice beaches like Elafonisi, Falassarna you have to take the bus (or rent car). We took the bus everywhere, nice towns, villages are in reachable destination like Chania or Platanias.

The staff were awesome! From our greeting on arrival from Katerina and Emmanuel, the help with luggage to room and the rest of the friendly staff during our whole stay. Another Katerina took exceptional care of our room, Maria the excellent breakfast cook, Dimitria, our excellent and friendly breakfast server and poolside mixologist and Manos who took care of us poolside and at dinner! All staff excellent! Very nice lobby, dining area and pool area.

It is a remote location but a lovely property.

Very clean room and bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the beach towels that we could even take with us to our trip to Elafonisi. The hotel has a big pool and sunbeds, umbrellas and nice bar, however, the seaside a few steps away is public with no hotel services there. Breakfast was okay. There are supermarkets very close to the hotel, and restaurants in Kolimvari.

Smoking is allowed on the balcony and unfortunately we had a serious smoker neighbour so we could not relax on the balcony for long… It would be good to have a kettle or coffee maker with some cups in the room.

First of all the stuff was amazing and very friendly. Rooms are okay and the breakfast was good. The breakfast was okay for us. Thanks for all and kindness. All in all for us was good because we want to sleep and go to visit the gorgeous beaches.

I didn't like the air conditioner (it was pretty old and made a strange smell into the room), maybe they could change in the future. The front door could be more phonic isolated because was a party and we hear the sounds .

I liked the property a lot. It has a perfect calming and relaxing atmosphere with a beach (consists of stones) close by and a pool area at the accommodation. It’s along the coast of a smaller village. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. With a rental car you could explore also outside areas more easily!

We recently stayed at Chryssana Hotel in Crete, and it was wonderful! The hotel is beautifully designed and offers a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location is great, close to lovely beaches and local attractions. I highly recommend Chryssana Hotel for a fantastic vacation!

Greek hospitality at it’s best. Hotel room and public areas were immaculate. The staff were perfect, very friendly, cheerful and helpful. If you like quiet, this hotel is perfect. It is down a quiet road and close to the beach. I arrived after midnight, on my own and did feel a little vulnerable as there was no-one around, but found my room and felt better once inside. I was upgraded for free to the seaview room, which was lovely, spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It’s about a 15 minute walk to a few very nice tavernas in the harbour.

The air conditioning could do with an upgrade. Would have been good to have washing sink in the toilet too.

The location was perfect close to everything. The pool was great. The staff, especially Anastasia, was so pleasant and helpful always with a smile . We were greeted by a wonderful gentleman who explained everything to us about the hotel as well as the area . I must also mention that the breakfast was exceptional.
