Had a great stay. The room was very spacious and beautiful. Far more than I expected. The pictures on the net are not doing justice to the place. We were initially reluctant to book there but did it anyway because it was closer to family, only to find a beautiful spacious clean and comfortable rooms.

The neighbours seem to be too close and loud. Didn't feel the privacy we needed. Also did not like the menu breakfast. Prepare the buffet kinda breakfast.

The room was very comfortable .Comfortable bed. Good layout. Rooms service was fast and the staff bringing the food was very friendly and professional.

In the afternoons when the staff knocked off, they were extremely noisy, even when I closed the windows on the first floor I could still hear them shouting to each other. The staff are also not very friendly, especially at reception.

The hotel is well located in Centurion Pretoria. Within safe premises. Manned security, plenty of parking (not covered). There is a Mangwanani Spa at the hotel, convenient to get a massage and other treatments. Derogatory restaurant serves great food.

The facade/decor is slightly outdated. There's areas still with carpets on the floors - inside the elevators, bar area and passages. The carpets definitely make it look outdated.

The hotel itself is very nice and clean, the staff is very welcoming, helpful and kind. We loved our stay here, breakfast was also super good. One day al'a carte, other they buffet. Both options was wide variety, and super delicious. Bathroom was huge, we loved it!!

Pool area is super small, its rather "dipping pool" not a proper swimming pool, there are no sunbeds either, just chairs and tables, because it is part of the bar/restaurant area. No plower outlets near mirror.

There was no plug points in the bathrooms Also it would be nice to have had an additional long mirror on the wall, we had to open the cupboards to find the mirror and it was not that convenient. There could have been a user manual for the Television (ShowMax/Netflix) not sure if I had to pay for the subscriptions or not, these need to be explained to guests, (in case they notice additional items on the bill)

It is a beautiful place with an authentic feel to it. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are also bigger than most I have stayed in. It has all the amenities one would want from a hotel of this standard

To be honest it was a little over priced. You get a big room and all but still it was just a bit too much in my opinion.

I liked the services.

The half-baked bed when i arrived 🥹 they already put away my pillows, and i had to put them back on and then take content pictures and videos, then take them off again.😅It's kind of silly, but some will understand.

I booked this Hotel for my children from the farm in KZN. They were there for the Mexican Fest. Location was perfect. The decor of the Hotel is beautiful. Rooms were clean. Beds very comfortable. They enjoyed their stay.

For people who come far I think they must maybe change the book in time to 14H00. Also, they were not informed of any breakfast or breakfast time. So, the missed breakfast :(

The Royal Elephant Hotel is a perfect choice for any type of visit whether it is business, conferences, family or any other specific need. Professional staff, excellent cuisine, spacious rooms, nice dining rooms and decor that has a royal touch to it. I will visit The Royal Elephant Hotel again and again.

Loadsheding, and the generators that kicked in was a nuisance, but unavoidable. We got used to it.

The day spa was exceptional. The food was delicious. Rooms were very spacious. The bathroom was spacious, and I really liked the setup. The surroundings were very relaxing.

The air-conditioning can be upgraded. Extra blankets can be added to the room during winter.
