I love this property and the service seems to get better and better. The location was grateful what I needed to do and where I needed to be. Staff are always a pleasure to deal with and often with the smile. When I reported my room Aircon, which was not working, it was speedy dealt with. The older Xhosa lady in the restaurant is a plus to this place. It’s been a few years that I’ve been coming here and she is still there and always ready to serve with a smile. The hotel was very busy some mornings and the breakfast items.l were speedily replenished. I loved the Gym thought it’s tiny I love that breakfast is included Clean, quiet & Great value for money I love that I could work in the dining room area during the day since they only use it for breakfast

The breakfast is one area of improvement. It’s basically the same things every day. The eggs are like rubber and it’s like mass production. It’s good to have breakfast as part of the package, but sometime it was like eating because 1 has no choice.

Rooms are clean and fresh. Close to shopping malls(distance reasonable when driving ) Very tight security at the complex yet so diplomatic and friendly when dealing with you The breakfast was really amazing in fact it was theeee highlight of the day. I had seen good reviews about their breakfast and when we were there it was really exceptional. So many options to choose from and very friendly staff as well, thumbs up to the chefs I loved that they had a gym so I got to enjoy my workouts although it was a bit small and felt crowded if there were 3 or 4 people at the same time. But all the same the fact that there is a gym gives the hotel a plus.

What's not to like about Holiday Inn Express! But oh well,maybe rooms with balconies could have given it some extra points.

Location was good for where my event was taking place

Fire evacuation procedures. Staff needs training. Fire alarm went off for a long time. We were told over the system after everyone was stumbling around that it was a false alarm. This should not have been the correct procedure. There was no fire marshal, we came down the escape route got to reception. It was like mayhem. We should have gone to the assembly point, someone should have been there to ensure safety and give clear instructions and advise then everyone would felt better going back to their rooms. If this was a real fire you would have a deaths and casualties on your hands.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express Sandton Woodmead. I really appreciated the excellent security and the good breakfast options. A special appreciation goes to the staff who went the extra mile to pack our breakfast early. We collected it at 6:00 am, even though breakfast only starts at 6:30 am, and I know it was a lot of work for them to prepare it ahead of time. Their effort and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed – it was truly appreciated. Great service, comfortable stay, and kind staff – highly recommended!

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bathroom had dove products ,loved the water pressure. Free wifi and smart tv was a plus to watch Netflix, youtube. Close to all amenities and very safe. They allowed visitors and alcohol which was a big thumbs up. Buffet breakfast was great. Friendly staff, complimentary tea, coffee and water will definitely book again it's very affordable.

No swimming pool and only 45 minutes were allowed for breakfast, which was not mentioned prior to booking. The lighting in the rooms needs improvement. The pillows were uncomfortable

Everything was exceptional 👌 starting from the view outside the building, rooms was so comfortable with the view from it so clean the towels was wow, we even got snack 'fruits' in our rooms The staff was so welcoming especially those at breakfast area they were so friendly very helpful my children loved them. The buffet breakfast was super with lot of options choose 😋 I liked that because my little boy was enjoying playing around that beautiful and clean place he didn't get chance to eat enough his breakfast but they allowed him to carry some fruit salad on our way out. I will choose Holiday inn on my next vacation even in another province

Breakfast was great with a good assortment, bed was comfy including bedding, room had ample space. Great shower!

When I arrived there were about 30+ dirty mattresses at the entrance and lobby. It was unclear whether they were coming or going. Breakfast was great, but it was odd that plenty of the staff (In staff dress and head nets) ate at separate tables in the same area. I fully understand they need to eat, it was just an odd setup. I booked a room with a balcony, and on check in, I double checked, and was informed that I was assigned a room without a balcony. They then changed it to one with a balcony, but in a smoking room I believe. Aircon vents were rather dirty and caked in dust.

The breakfast was wonderful. How I wished you did meals like lunch and supper also different from the restaurant.

The airport fare from the airport when I arrived was not communicated in advance to me and I felt it was way too much after using an uber when going back. By the way, the Hotel forgot to arrange Hotel Pickup, and I waited forever until I had to call the reception. The fare I was charged through the Hotel was three times more than an ordinary Uber.
