Our stay at Cortisen Am See was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived we were impressed. The service was attentive and the staff were truly lovely. The beautiful decorations, special art pieces, and elegant interior design gave the entire hotel a unique and luxurious atmosphere. The rooms were, stylish, and filled with character. The bed was comfortable. The lake view from the balcony is a must. There is plenty of space to lounge, both indoors and outdoors—perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying the peaceful ambiance. The lake access and breathtaking lake views were stunning, and we loved being just steps away from the water. The restaurant and bar area was another highlight. Every meal was a treat—dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and we especially enjoyed the grilled lunch by the lake. For wellness and activity, we made use of the sauna, the well-equipped gym, and the lap pool that added a great balance to our stay. We felt truly pampered. The location is also ideal—within easy walking distance to town center, schafberg mountain area and lakeside strolls. There are several fantastic hiking trails nearby that offer unforgettable views. The entire experience was relaxing, serene, and beautifully executed. There was truly nothing more we could ask for.We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Cortisen Am See.

The hotel is amazing! I am sure we will be back.

One evening, we drank a few bottles of wine and then champagne. At 10.30 pm, a naughty waitress came and took our glasses of champagne (Riedl), replacing them with cheaper ones. The motivation was that the price of the first glasses was 45 euros and she was afraid of breaking them. We felt humiliated, because you can't do something like that, especially when I had invited the family. And at home, I have over 250 glasses with a price between $50-75 a glass and I only broke one when I washed it. Perhaps, the owner of the hotel should teach the staff how to behave in such situations. For a broken glass, you can lose thousands of euros, because your customers, after such an unpleasant experience, can choose another hotel.

Difficult to say what we liked the most because we loved it all. The size, quality of the room. Fancy decoration, good coffee and quality furniture in the room. The private balcony with the fantastic view, The nice and helpfull manager and staff, the quality of the breakfast and the other food and wine, the clean and peaceful garden with quality furniture, bath and sauna possibilities alone with full access to the lake. We felt very lucky to have found and chosen this place.

It feels like all the annoyances common in other hotels have been eliminated. From the moment we entered, we felt the special atmosphere and character that runs through every part of the hotel. We simply enjoyed this wonderful place and its stylish charm. The interior is stunning and well-designed, with beautiful art and accents that make the spaces feel unique. The windows offer peaceful, breathtaking views. The SPA area is a true relaxation haven—comfortable, professional, and beautifully designed. After warming up well in the sauna, it's worth taking a quick dip in the icy waters of Lake St. Wolfgang, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. We loved the hotel’s unique style. It’s not just a place to stay but an experience we’ll always remember and want to return to.

It is very cleverly put together, one can tell it’s privately owned and a lot of heart went into details. Off the tacky beaten track in St. Wolfgang that unfortunately exists! A la carte breakfast is fabulous and there is a great pool and sauna if it rains!

The female receptionist seemed rather lost when we approached her with questions considering facilities or activities. We suggest sticking to the owner!

It's a hidden treasure at Wolfgangsee's most spectacular village, Sankt Wolfgang. Right at the Lake. If you like creative, stylish, art-focused interiors, you will enjoy the design as we did. And also the 25-meter-long infinity pool, which looks at the Lake. The breakfast is served, and similar every day, but they vary it slightly, so not boring.:) SUP is regular equipment at the property; you don't need to rent it; just enjoy it on those rare sunny days.:) And the staff is amicable.

If you can afford the lake view room, choose that because the other side is on the main street. It was a bit noisy.

I liked everything about the hotel, with the trifling exception of the pillows, a little flat for me.

The special, modern design with art’s elements, the decorations, the clean and good maintaining conditions, the nice and friendly manner of the staffs, and the super nice boss gave us comfortable and relaxing staying experience! Also, the breakfast was perfect, the food was good and the juice was very fresh!

The design of the showering area is defective, the water came out unavoidable and made the floor of the bathroom very wet .

Cortisen am See is the best hotel we have ever experienced. Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake, the beds were quite comfortable, the shower terrific. The breakfast was superb and served in the hotel's lovely restaurant. The infinity pool is a gem. The location is excellent- located between the two St. Wolfgang docks. Good restaurants are on premises, right next door and one across the street. Lush landscaping in a wonderful town for bike riding and hiking.

The elevator is a bit snug and slow but we enjoyed using the wide staircase to scamper up and down (good exercise).

Perfect lake getaway. Lawn and deck in the back gave excellent access to the lake. Lovely dining and lounging options, breakfast was a dream. Staff was personable and ever-present to refresh drinks as needed. Looking forward to coming back.
