We stayed there for 2 nights and never regretted our stay at all! From the time we walked in to the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. On the day of arrival, there was free flow of drinks from 3.45pm- 4.45pm with their menu of choice. The hotel provided breakfast everyday but with the same menu. The room was spacious and big, the toilets were very spacious and clean. We loved the bathtub inside. We went during the sakura season and there was a huge beautiful tree with blooming sakura just outside the hotel. A balcony view of the room would be great for the stay. Most of the staff could understand english which is a plus point. Overall, we had an amazing stay in this hotel.

The hotel was intimate and our room was spacious and resembled a very modern Ryokan. The breakfast was traditional and delicious. It included rice pockets with a choice of fillings prepared by their chef, which sat on a bed of dried seaweed, and was served with a side of pickles and miso. The meal was flavoursome and fresh. The location was very convenient for us, noting the train and tram station a stone throw away. The area was buzzing with people, and then nice and quiet at night.

Small but well-appointed room. Front desk staff very helpful and kind, appreciate them holding our bags before check-in. Included breakfast was delicious onigiri and tea.

I wish there was also a coffee option provided with breakfast. I love tea, but do appreciate a coffee to start my day. No one told us about the sauna that is in the hotel, we had to ask ourselves. It is an additional charge so we did not use it.

This hotel was a last minute booking for us as plans changed, but it wound up being a highlight on our trip. Kamakura town is a beautiful escape from the hustle of Tokyo and a fantastic mix of traditional culture and modern society. Kamakura Hotel embodies that description. The rooms have a modern design with luxury amenities and technologies, but they have been furnished well to incorporate traditional aspects such as fusuma and tatami. The staff are very welcoming and the services are simple yet sufficient, practical, and purposeful - exactly what we expected from Japanese culture. This hotel is a two minute walk from Kamakura Station and allows for a central location to explore the town.

Good size room, huge bathroom for Japan. Comfortable Beds. Free drinks daily, good breakfast. Good location if you are able to arrive at Kamakura Station.

A truly Japanese style hotel, situated close to train station. Small hotel. Individual attention given to quests. A Wonderful experience. Rooms are big & easily accommodated 3 people. Our room had a balcony which was a plus. Japanese breakfast served.

The hotel staff are friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Room was sparkling clean with lovely amenities and comfortable beds. Just around the corner from the train station and bustling shops. Would return in a heartbeat!

Great japanese style room. Big balcony. Loved the bathroom. Big deep bath. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very simple but tasty. Close to the train station but it was not noisy. Also walking distance to everything. I would highly recommend this place.

Great location, less than 5mins from train station. Great little coffee shop nearby called Coffee Talks (highly recommend). Staff were lovely and very helpful. Lovely little bar with snacks available. All great. Rooms with traditional tatami mats.
