We love the accommodation!! Room big and comfortable, very comfy beds, very handy to have a microwave and fridge in room. Although the room facing the main road it was quiet. The lady owner and her daughter made us feel like at home, such lovely ladies!! They love dogs...both of my dogs got sausages for breakfasts. Our breakfast was fantastic too ( full fried + choice of cornflakes, jams etc). Great guest house with nice location to explore this part of Lake District. Very good value for money

We were made to feel welcome straight away. The rooms were very clean and had everything in that we needed. Towels, soap, shower gel and shampoo were provided as well as tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Sherry checked that we were warm enough and Lauren cooked us a delicious breakfast. The beds were really comfy. We've stayed there before and will definitely be back. We had between us one room with a double bed and one room with twin beds. We'd definitely recommend this lovely little bed and breakfast.

Sherry and Lauren are fantastic hosts who go above and beyond to make their guests feel safe and welcome. I have a food allergy (egg) and to make my breakfast look a little less empty they replaced my egg with extra sausages and bacon! Rooms are comfortable and warm with private toilets and showers and the location is only a short walk from the town center. My room came with a refrigerator so I could store drinks and medicine in a cold environment, tea and coffee facilities, and plenty of towels, soap and shower gel. On a few other stays the room I was staying in had a microwave as well, so if I felt like having a lazy day with a microwave meal or reheating a coffee, I could :) Thank you so much!

The breakfast was lovely and so large too. Sherry couldn’t do enough for us. We were asked what time we wanted breakfast and it was ready for us with a lovely pot of tea. On the second evening we asked if it was possible to have an evening meal which we had made for us. It was perfect after a day out. Also we were given so much advice about the local area and where to go. We used some of the advice and had a better time because of it.,

Lovely comfortable room with everything you could possibly need. Sherry and Lauren were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a good one. Excellent breakfast, with good quality produce, again Sherry went out of her way to ensure we left fully fuelled ready for the day ahead.

We happened to arrive in Millom on a Wednesday, where everything is closed! It is a lovely old building, that needs some attention in places, however it really does not need all the trinkets and wall hangings, although it’s my personal taste it does not take anything away from the comfort of the room.

The hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was spacious, and beautifully decorated, bed was comfortable, and the microwave and fridge in the room was an added bonus. The shower was good, I loved the little wooden house money box on the shelf behind the toilet, to put a penny in when you “spend a penny” unfortunately I had no money on me at all 😔 The breakfast was fabulous, and it was the perfect fuel for parkrun at HMP Haverigg.

Sherry the owner was fantastic and guest focused. Nothing was too much trouble. Our dog was made most welcome and even benefited from sausage breakfast every day. The historic premises was respectfully decorated and all the amenities were great. We were made very welcome!

The room was so clean and very comfortable. Beautifully designed. Had everything we needed, a tea station, towels, a microwave, a mini fridge, and an iron. The staff is so friendly. They made us feel at home. Lauren is a ray of sunshine. She's always open to a friendly conversation. We had some good recommendations for sightseeing and a lovely breakfast too. It was a well-worth stay. I highly recommend them for a comfortable stay.

Both Lauren and Sherry were so good with our little nervous rescue Tilly. They made us feel at ease and we’re so good to sort any anxiety we had about Tilly being round other dogs(proper dog lovers) breakfast was fab(Tilly loved her doggy sausage)The bed was extremely comfy and it was an added bonus to have a little fridge and microwave. We would definitely revisit as we felt at ease and were left to get on with things but had enough input from the hosts to make our stay great. A1….thankyou so much

Staff were very friendly, very welcoming, and knew lots about the local area for advice on where to visit and where to eat. Let you choose what time you want breakfast which is nice. Very dog friendly we didn't have ours but another couple did, the owner even made sausage for the dog. Ask everyday if we needed anything for our room which was nice. We had a really nice stay 😁

Was all acceptable. Just to note, Parking is on the street or across the road at the pavilion, but had no issues with it as always space.
