This is a small boutique hotel and is kinda unique. It overlooks the lake which is lovely. It’s also a short walk to cafes and the few small restaurants there are in the village. The rooms are great, good size, sitting area with sofa and TV, big bathroom with 2 person bubbling spa hot tub and balcony with view through the trees to the lake. We booked the dinner and breakfast included package which was degustation style mixing Italian and Japanese cuisine which is quirky but each dish was done exceptionally well, the presentation perfect and the flavors succulent using locally harvested ingredients.

Despite the food quality being excellent the dining area is rather austere and while the service was efficient it was rather process oriented. I am not complaining, just highlighting that the attention to detail re the food seemed to stifle the ambiance.

Very nice boutique hotel , only has 6 room , modern design , though room a bit dark ..very comfortable , good f a relax vacation , close to the lake only 6 min walk , Staff r very very nice , helpful , n professional, deliver the warmest hospitality to guests , appreciated his effort 😃 food r excellent ,, they offer free ice cream after dinner , very tasty 😋

We reserved two room , one room is a bit cold , there’re two heater in room , but when we turn on all lighting n TV together with heater , electricity suddenly power outage ….but staff came to help immediately , except this accident , all good in hotel .

This facility (a boutique hotel) works together with the adjacent Onsen hotel. It's the same firm, and you can use their Onsen. The strange thing is this: both the boutique hotel and the Onsen serve great dinners. My friend stayed at the Onsen hotel, due to lack of rooms. When we had dinner at the Onsen, we both paid the same price. But when we had the last dinner at the boutique, a surcharge of 3300 yen was added to the bill for my friend, because of not being a hotel-guest of the boutique. This I found quite incomprehensible.

Free shuttle bus from/to JR Chitose station. There is a welcome gelato when we arrived, and you can enjoy free all-you-can gelato after the dinner. There are only 6 rooms in this hotel, and the guests under 13 are restricted, so you can enjoy a lot of peace and relax. There is no onsen facility in this hotel, but you can 3 mins away to have an onsen at another hotel, you can also enjoy free ice bar there.

The food tastes great, however we still felt a little bit hungry after our dinner and breakfast.

Dinner was very good and unique. The room was very nice with big shower and bath area. Plenty amenities supplied. Nice onsen (public bath) in a near-by facility

Communication was not easy but eventually ok. Apparently, breakfast is served only from 8:00 (wasn't mentioned in the booking), and since we needed to catch a flight, we couldn't attend. Alternative breakfast was offered at 7 am in a different hotel but with additional payment. why?

The staff were very polite. The building itself has beautiful architecture and a spectacular view.

There aren't any hooks on the wall to hang towels and bathrobes. If you want to go to Sapporo by bus or Taxi, make sure to plan ahead well in advance as there is very limited transportation available.

Boutique, very quiet and intimate setting. Breakfast and dinner are delicious and well crafted. Excellent service with special gelato treats of 14 unique flavors.

If you didn’t include dinner in your stay or reserve dinner elsewhere in the area, plan ahead bc no food option (even convenient store) is available especially in the winter.

Staff was amazingly friendly. Food was delicious and able to accommodate for dietary restrictions. The dinners are beautiful and gives a great view of the sunset across the lake.

Just One staff has to deal with all the services and inquiries... have to wait.... The water at the sink is very slow to heat up... Onsen can only be used at another hotel...

Having the half board the meals were exceptional. Loved every mouthful.

There was only one transport to the accommodation available. Due to train cancellations we missed it and there was no communication regarding how else to get there which would’ve been helpful.
