The staff were very friendly and allowed me to check in early with my huge suitcase. The room was large with a balcony and a beautiful view. There was a bath and shower option in the room. Breakfast included. Rooms were cleaned everyday.

The hotel could do with a little renovation, it was disappointing to see the current state of the outdoor swimming pool from the window (not that I’d use in the winter). My bedroom door kept getting stuck also (though in fairness I never raised this with the staff as I didn’t want to move room, I otherwise liked my room).

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel in Valença do Minho. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast included in the reservation was delicious and had a good variety of options to start the day.

The only downside was that the parking lot could use better lighting for added convenience.

I thought it was a nice place to stay. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was handy. TV in room, and my bathroom had bath/shower, bidet, toilet, sink and hairdryer, and towels. The room also had a safe and mini-bar, and also a balcony, though I didn't use that. Heating and air conditioning worked fine, pillows were synthetic which was a plus as I'm allergic to feathers. It wasn't a problem to leave my bags at the hotel for a few hours after checkout (I had a mid-afternoon train to catch).

I can be quite picky, but I didn't find anything to complain about.

The hotel location worked well for me as it was not in the heart of things, so I found it more relaxing. The Front Desk people, at check-in, later in the evening, then again at checkout, really made my stay there enjoyable. I liked the simplicity of things at the hotel, and I especially enjoyed being able to sit outside on my balcony after my arrival and then again later in the evening. For living simply, this hotel worked well for me.

I really enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel. It allowed me to get my day off to a great start. It was just enough for me. The night before, I had dinner at a restaurant two doors down that was really great. I would like to thank the staff that attended to breakfast in the morning as they were attentive without being intrusive.

The price for the room with breakfast was really amazing. It is true that the hotel has seen better days and some of the equipment is very old, but for a room with breakfast and a free swimming pool and free parking, walkable to the old fort village, the value for money is excellent.

The area is a bit run down. Clearly the town took a hit during the recession, so you have to walk a bit to get to the nicer areas, but not that far really.

From the reception lady to the breakfast already waiting for us on the table. Everything was amazing. Easy access and very well located, totally convenient. Recommend to all the Camino de Santiago pirlgrim.

Not much to add here. Everything was super great. Clean and tidy. Not much to ask for. The room even had a big balcony. The only thing to point out was the strength of the shower, was still totally okay to shower :)

The room was good simple and useful. You can see good cleaning routine. Room also had some nice extras that were comfortable. Enjoyed the free breakfast and nice proximity to essential things in the area. Great place for a rest or break on a trip.

The property seemed unkept and sketchy. (Outside) The hotel looked rundown and sad on the outside. But this didn't affect my stay at all. I would definitely go back.

a beautiful clean traditional hotel with really good beds and linen. the staff are friendly and efficient and the area is quiet. it’s near enough to the town and restaurants and very handy for Camino

the breakfast was great - copious pastries and bread products. also yogurt, fruit, cheese and ham. the coffee was not good and the choice of tea poor

We couldn’t believe how big our room was. The bed was super comfortable. It was located close to the train station and the walled fort city. We needed a taxi very early in the morning and the staff arranged that for us.

location was great 5 min walk to old town , parking was public underground parking that the hotel gave a discounted rate 10 euros per 24 hours was 50 meters away. Room was spacious for two people bathroom and shower were very good . Staff was excellent and helpful upon arrival . I would recommend this hotel for Braga
