I had an exceptional vacation at this hotel. From the beginning, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff. If I could give an "above and beyond" award, this would be it. The room was larger than I expected and was better than the one in the pictures. The breakfast was good, but somewhat the same every day. This isn't a problem per se, but some might prefer more variety. I also loved the location: it's located 3 minutes away from the beach with a couple of good restaurants nearby. The trip to the city on the bus takes 20 minutes and is somewhat tedious in the hot weather, but it's by no means an issue with the hotel.

A significant downside for me was the small step between the room itself and the bathroom. While it's not a problem, it's not marked in any way, and I stumbled upon it several times. A high-visibility marking would be great to have and is potentially a cheap and fast fix. The second thing is that somewhere near the hotel, there is a rooster that wakes up and starts yelling at around 5 am. It can be a bit annoying if you wake up earlier than expected and try to sleep some more.

Any negatives we experienced were minor - would probably kill the mood for more demanding people, but were fine by us. Staff was excellent and friendly, very helpful with both hotel facilities and other things like cafe recommendations or calling a cab; The place has a small pool and bar area, but it's also three steps from the sea. A few things which were missing (like the kettle was broken and there were no dry rack) were quickly brought in. The location is also next to several excellent restaurants, and after a bit of a walk there's both a regular bus stop and a hop-on-hop-off tourist bus stop.

Minor negatives - almost no hot water in the shower, the room is spacious yet not very well planned out, not leaving many places to do things, even though the floor size is great; Location is excellent beach-wise, but is a bit away from both Ammoudara and Heraklion tourist places -- though both are accessible by bus.

We stayed for three nights. I like the view from our balcony and the staff were all super nice and welcoming. Breakfast was also great. It was super comfortable to sit at the balcony at night. I didn’t use the pool but it was well maintained and I saw people enjoying the pool there. They also offered us private shower after checkout time, which was helpful for us since our flights was late in the evening.

Only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom. There is no separation for the shower so the bathroom floor gets wet easily. If you are used to separation it might cause some discomfort. However, it drys in the morning so won’t bother you the next day.

We had 2 rooms - one newly decorated room in the main building (slept 2) that we were very happy with - comfortable king-sized bed, large clean bathroom and shower. The other room was for 3 people (in another older building). The older building was adequate for us, but not as nice. No appealing decorations, adequate queen bed in a bedroom, and uncomfortable twin bed in the living room/kitchen area. The elevator did not work in the building. Breakfast was good enough. Many selections served buffet style. Fresh-squeezed orange juice, cold fried eggs, croissants with ham, cheese, jellies, sweet breads, water melon. Once we mentioned that some in our group had Celiac disease, they brought us gluten-free bread (thank you so much - that thoughtfulness means a lot to travelers). Front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pool area was nice. The pool water was cold in May, and the two small pools looked like hot tubs, but were not heated. Location was fine. Off-street parking lot for the buildings. Short drive into Heraklion.

The older building needs to be remodeled. The old twin bed should be replaced. I'm not sure if the two smaller pools are hot tubs, but if they are, they need to be heated.

Feel of a family hotel. All staff welcoming and pleasant, reception efficient & professional. Small pool but in a seclude garden which had sun or shade, a great place to sit or eat. Very good breakfast, we also had the evening meal and although not a great deal of choice was of a high standard. The hotel is a stone's throw from the beach and a short ride on the frequent bus service to Heraklion. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely use again if we return to Crete.

Great location near the beach and restaurants. Bus stop to town down the street. Private parking included. Very friendly staff :) Thanks for the Prosecco as welcome drinks 🥂 Wonderful pool with places to lay in the shaded garden, good breakfast. Nice poolside bar. Great room, very quiet, comfortable and clean. A/C. Good storage in both bathroom and bedroom. Nice to have the living area (with sofabed) as you enter, then hallway with bathroom, then finally ensuite bedroom (very quiet as separate from entrance and fridge).

Nothing negative... If I had to find something to mention, maybe that the Jacuzzi didn't work well upon arrival but fixed following day.

Staff were all lovely: friendly, helpful and great with kids. Had a small car park and on street parking for free. Very close to the beach. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were a bit basic (old TV etc) and the sofa bed option isn't comfortable, but for the price I can't complain. Their air con was powerful and a Nespresso coffee machine was provided. The room also had a fridge. Very good value for money

A middle-sized family hotel in Heraklion, right at the sea - 50m from a large sandy beach. Despite the proximity of the beach, there is also a pool in the garden. The place is clean and comfortable, the staff is extremely friendly. Apart from a rich breakfast, dinner is also offered, with food typical of different parts of Greece. There is enough parking space - would be good for the guest to have his/her own means of transportation. Great place, I loved it.

Everything was perfect.

The best thing about this property are the staff who are extremely warm and hospitable, and the location. It is next to the beach (I could hear the ocean from my balcony) and a bus stop which makes access to Heraklion extremely convenient. The room I booked was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of storage. I was supposed to stay for 5 nights and would have been happy to do so, but was offered a complimentary upgrade to the nearby Hotel Malena (part of Omilos Hotels).

I was there during the off season, so many things were closed for the season (no fault of the property, just something to be aware of).

Proffesional attitude receptionist Elisavet& Athanasios at all, mainly at solving my blocked mobile when I was nervous if mobile will be unblock.Athanasios was very calm it helped me to think possitive&Elisavet helped me open mobile and took sim card out,then mobile was activated❣️also big thx I had evening flight back home so Elisavet arranged it 👍 I can stayed in the room for extra charge because was out of season& it helped me much, could take shower before my long way & it was comfortable for me to keep my luggage in room take have a rest. The lady who cleaned the room make it always clean & bed & towels were always each day perfect prepared. She is doing her job exactly & mainly with 💛what I feld. And can't forget lady in kitchen too, was very calm and nice to me.The hotel was familiar, 'sweet little things' makes unique atmosfere,the place has own soul& charm. Restaurant in country style, cozy paradise garden which was oasis of peace, I felt like in paradise 🌴 there, perfect bar next to pool 🥃🍹, breakfast all you need ...quality juice, coffee, home-made bread was fantastic❣️reception in zen boutique style, all you need in one place. Thanks your familiar atmosfere you do your job excellent, people who work in Georgia's garden hotel make the atmosfere unique🩷special feeling,the place is in a harmony that's what you can only feel when you spend time in Georgia's garden hotel.Come back to my second home 🇬🇷🏝🌊next year,thx to you my friends
