WiFi — we had a bunch of problems with the internet. The owner tried to fix it, but it didn’t really work out (but tbh in our last day everything worked great). On the other hand, we came to this place to chill and relax, so we were okay with that 🙂 Moldy room — when we arrived, we got a room that wasn’t very clean and had mold in the bathroom. But we talked to the owner (huge thanks to this man), he apologized, and quickly changed our room. The new one was perfect. Client-oriented approach 👍

Amazing - modern unit, with lights in toilet and bathroom that automatically turn on. Air con automatically goes off if you leave door to deck open. Comfortable bed, quiet area, close to beach, restaurants and shops Shower was amazing and had so many settings. Breakfast was great and breakfast lady - very friendly.

We wanted to hire a car - huge sign outside office that says Rent a Car - but they don't do rental cars anymore. There was a picture of your tour options in office. Manager of hotel said we don't organize them anymore - go to main Street and find a place. We hired car from neighbouring hotel!

My husband and I were staying for two nights after flying with our bicycles to Heraklion. We enjoyed our stay very much. There was a sheltered and safe place to keep the bicycles. The studio we stayed in was completely new and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and you can enjoy it inside the buffet room or outside under a veranda. The beach is just around the block, and there is plenty of options for eating out or shopping. We can highly recommend this place. Very friendly and helpful owners!

1 min from beach, beautiful grounds full of birdsong, spacious room, large walk in shower, incredible view, sounds of the surf crashing, quiet area, lovely staff, great location, clean air, very comfortable big bed, good quality sheets and towels, bedside and main light switches both sides of the bed. Practical room cleaning indicators to request or refuse service. Sliding door mosquito/bug screen, nice little patio with chairs and table, Stunning view over garden and nearby mountains. Loads of well stocked grocery and gift shops nearby, tons of restaurants and tavernas on the main street and on the beach with sun loungers and umbrella, and a passing masseuse! One night I had dinner, wine and a foot massage on the beach in the sun. Utter bliss! Great location for tour pick ups, access to Heraklion, lots of cheap buses. Close to clean sandy /pebbly beach, watch out for tide/undertow and quite steep drop off! Breakfast lovely and always greeted charmingly with a great selection of freshly baked cakes by Marina, breads, eggs, yoghurt and honey, etc and great coffee. Tonya serviced the room very well, efficient and organised, very much appreciated. I was sad to leave! Ammoudara is a really lovely village, filled with fragrant flowers, olive trees, a small walk to the west takes you to Almyra gorge for a beautiful walk in the foothills with goats and lots of bird species. It's on a lovely long beach that goes for miles, with plenty of eating and drinking options, lots of clothes/beach accessory and local produce shops, and mountain views. There's also a beach shower and changing stall just at the end of the street, with warm water! Great for sloughing off sandy feet, and a wood walkway to the path. If you drive there's several lovely beaches to the west within about 10/20 mins with nice shallow bays, beach restaurants and snorkeling.

I stayed for a fortnight and the only negative was being slightly bothered by the bar at the end of the street playing rubbish music on a couple nights, but it only lasted a couple of hours and finished early. Some nights it was great music!

It is located litterally in front of the sea and offers extra blankets for the winter and a nice beach for the summer (I lived through both conditions during my stay in Creta).The personel is really friendly and it has a big space in order to park your car which closes late in the night so that nothing can get stolen from the car. The rooms inside mimic a traditional house. I would definetely stay there again if I ever decide to visit Creta again.

Wonderful hotel almost on the beautiful and organized beach. Although we visited the hotel in October, we were impressed by the impeccable organization. Clean sunny rooms, brand new. The price is very low based on what they offer. We will visit the hotel again for summer holidays. Very good buffet breakfast with many products made in their kitchen. Next to the main street with many shops that are open all year round. We were really very pleased!!!

We liked it very much. Small, modern hotel with all the amenities. The owner has done a very good job. It has a large green garden, free BBQ, and parking inside the hotel. Our room had a sea view, with modern decoration. Very close you can find mini market, shops for shopping and very good restaurants. 10 minutes from the city of Heraklion. We will definitely return in the summer which I imagine will be perfect.

The owners have created a very beautiful space with completely renovated rooms with a view either to the sea or to the garden. There is a free BBQ, and use of a laundry for a fee. Very good breakfast. Right next to a beautiful and organized beach. The main street is very close to the hotel with many restaurants and shops. The city of Heraklion is only half an hour away by bus. Really a very good choice for short or long stay. Thanks for the hospitality, and we will definitely come back!!!!

The room was renovated and nice. it was close to all the nice restaurants (Petousis etc). The beach pool Havana was one block away and you could swim if you got a drink. The lady who did breakfast and cleaned did a great job. She washed the floors every day and cleaned up after breakfast duty. For 7 euros they will do your laundry and there is a rack on the patio for drying the clothes. The room has a fridge and stove and sink. The AC is good

The beach was a little rough by the property and is not a swimming beach. I couldn't take my 11 year old daughter swimming there. But there is a hotel down the beach for 380 euros a night and the beach is exactly the same.

Despite having many delays, first with our flight, then with our car rental, this accommodation did not disappoint us at all. We called in at 11pm to notify the resort of our huge delay being that we were supposed to check in at 9pm, and they assured us it would not be a problem and that we would find our room key and information at the reception, which we did and were so thrilled to see such a nice atmosphere and modern room awaiting us after a long day❤️ Our room had a lovely view of the pool and garden of the resort, with all room facilities mentioned. The breakfast was very lovely and served different traditional sweets daily as well! Overall, wonderful experience!
