We very much liked this modern hotel in the center of Amoudara and so close to the sea and Heraklion. There are two good restaurants: Lazaros, which is very much appreciated by the locals and Uncle George, a family restaurant, which offers local dishes combined with a large variation of starters such as jacket potatoes filled with meat or fish. Do not go to Petousis, which treats its customers as numbers and where the service is low. The quality went down and the prices went up during the last 2 years. We had a room with a patio. The lovely small olive tree. It is quiet and located in a nice neighbourhood. The staff at the reception are very kind people. They enjoy their work and are very relaxed. They take time to talk to you; not only about tourist information, but also about their personal life and experiences.

The only thing which we do not like is Enorme Teatro, which is indeed a bad theater. The people working there are very impolite and unkind. They do not take your order. The freddo cappuccino was just milk. You ask for a small coffee and they bring you a large one so that they can charge more. In Enorme Teatro you have the feeling that you are in a wrong Italian place. We very much hope dat Nuovo will stop this collaboration.

- it wasn’t a problem for us (as we preferred to spend the time on the beach), but the terrace didn’t look as in the picture - very little furniture, and only one (broken) sundeck

The location is 40 minutes from Heraklion, in the small town of Gazi. It’s quiet and peaceful here, with shops nearby and a bus stop close as well. The beach is clean.

The staff is incredibly friendly, polite, and has a great sense of humor. The DJ and the music by the pool are excellent. Breakfasts are varied and delicious.

Recommending booking inclusive of the excellent breakfast at the beach at the Enorme Teatro next door. Super relaxed place that has a DJ playing most of the days. Cars, airport transfer and excursions can be organised from the reception. Opting to do nothing on the beach beds or pool is also a great way to spend your day.

Every service and more, we were so happy with all the accommodation and structure and staff, food at the affiliate hotel was very nice, the room comfortable had all the necessary.

Unfortunately the location is near a factory so we did not feel so keen towards having a swim in the sea at the hotel beach, there was a sign indicating that the area is eligible for analysis of the water (we guessed) but it wasn't completely explained and no one gave us instructions about it so we preferred to change destination for swimming during the day almost every day during the stay. I suggest the hotel to give exhaustive information about the quality of the water.

New build property with comfortable rooms and all the facilities including good ac in bedroom and living room. A short stroll to the parent hotel with excellent breakfast and lovely pool and serviced beach beds if you prefer to lounge by the sea.

Minor comment but the fridge was too small and not cold enough.

We were early, but one of our rooms was already prepared, so we could leave our luggage. We could view the sea from our balcony and the beach was 5 minutes walk away. There were a lot of restaurants in the vicinity. The breakfast was at the location of a sister hotel, 5 minutes walk.

We really enjoyed our stay in here! The staff was super friendly and always ready to help; the room was well equipped, modern, clean and comfortable; the beach area (with a bar/restaurant and a pool) were great too (all these facilities are just around the corner in the partner hotel). By the way, the breakfast served in there was always great and very tasty, we really loved it! In general, everything was just great and very relaxing, we’d be happy to stay here again someday! Great, attentive personnel. Spacious, modern and clean rooms. I experienced all room types: regular, junior suite and superior suite. They were all well designed and comfortable.

We really like this hotel. If you are visiting Heraklion and the surrounding area, stay here. The breakfast is excellent, the staff is outstanding, and the rooms are top-notch. The sister hotel, just around the corner, offers a wonderful breakfast and access to the beach. You can choose anything from the menu, and they will make it for you—be sure to try their Freddo espresso. The beach is beautiful, and sunbeds are free for hotel guests. They also serve great cocktails and draft beer. Parking is available. Everything was perfect, and my boyfriend and I were beyond happy with our stay.
