The room is small, but clean and comfortable. Good value for the price.

The hotel is quiet far from the city, but if you come by car it is convenient. It is possible to park the car without payment nearby the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for three days and had a very comfortable experience. The staff was exceptionally cooperative, and the hotel's environment was peaceful, ensuring quiet nights and restful sleep. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the center of Trieste. However, this makes it an ideal place to stay for those with a car. As I was traveling without a car, I relied on buses, which posed no issue since public transport was convenient and accessible. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness and housekeeping services. The staff cleaned the room and bathroom daily, replacing towels and maintaining a high standard of hygiene.

The location of the hotel is a bit far from the center of Trieste. The only downside I noticed was the bathroom design. The shower section was not completely separated, which caused water to spread across the bathroom floor after each shower. This was a minor inconvenience but worth mentioning.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Stuff is very professional and friendly, everyone speaks English perfectly. Hotel is very clean and tidy, room service is excellent. There was plenty of free parking in streets near the hotel, and it took only 10 minutes by car to the center of the Trieste. There is few supermarkets nearby and gas station. I’m second time in Trieste and first time in Hotel Sonia, but I’ll definitely come again. I honestly recommend this place

Having read the reviews we were prepared for the worst but actually, everything but the location was very good. The hotel seems new or at least renovated. The personnel were friendly and they made the check-in fast. The room.was big and located at the 3rd floor. There was elevator. Everything was working fine. The AC has a touchscreen and works with move sensor so you need to be in front of it. The water was also warm.

The parking should have been free for the guests but you can find parking around. Those who say that the parking lot is not at the location, it is actually exactly opposite to it. The location itself doesn't seem so appealing, since it is located under a bridge in a motorway. A fridge would have been nice but it is clear from the description that there isn't one.

We booked two rooms for four persons. Our room was excellent, we had a nice bathroom and it was comfortable all around.

Room 155 where my friends stayed was ridiculously low quality compared to ours. It was clearly just a useless corner in the building turned into a room so the hotel can maximise the number of beds. This room should not be sold as a 3 star room.

Beds were adequate. Wasn't expecting the full Hotel Vibe but they delivered. The room cleanliness could have been better, floorwise. The outside noise was minimal and the bathroom could use more cleaning and some additional toilet paper and soaps.

Just the overall floor cleanliness. The beds were adequate to pass out and rest, but not being able to walk barefoot to the bathroom to not get the feet dirty with dust or other stuff kinda was a downside.

PRO: the air-conditioning was working perfect and with 42°C outside it was great. We had a labrador (black) you can imagine in this heat she was shedding alot and they came the next morning and cleaned when we where out. We came prepared with a blacket to cover the white sheets but, was not really helping. The police was in and outside the hotel, we never felt more safe. Their parking was across the street. 😂

CON: no fridge.

The room was regularly changed with towels and light cleaning, that's good

two days in a row the fire alarm went off, it was terribly loud and nerve wracking... the first time it was at two in the morning, we were shocked, but the staff didn't explain anything to us or apologize. The next day it happened again early in the morning...

The staff was really kind and helpful. We opted for breakfast and it was nice with a wide variety of food. The room was not very big but it was very much clean and comfortable. The place is close to the highway so it it is easy to reach.

The price value ratio was not the best. The hotel was out of the city at the edge of Trieste. Parking was not really cheap, although it was comforting to know that our car was safe. It is absolutely not the fault of the hotel, but there was a rooster in the garden next to the hotel and we woke up to kikiriki early in the morning. Okay, if you are tired you are not bothered much by it, but otherwise...

Very clean facilities. The staff was super helpful, they upgraded our room to a bigger one for free and helped us open a stuck lock on a suitcase.

There were workers right in front of our windows so we had to keep the blinds closed at all times.
