So quiet, so clean, and the service was excellent. Both of the front desk representatives were very sweet and helpful. Our room had a refrigerator and a little table and a sliding door to a little garden area. It was quite a lot nicer than I expected for the price. Great location as well. Good cup of coffee at breakfast. Honestly the best thing here is the staff, they were so nice.

Good location, very close to El Salvador del Mundo, some good restaurants and one of the common pickup points for tours that start in San Salvador. The hotel is nicely decorated, they had the most adorable Christmas decorations on when we left. Traditional Salvadoran breakfast is 10/10

At the beginning of our stay, the cleaning ladies would knock on our door and ask if we wanted to room cleaned even though we had the “do not disturb” sign and wanted to sleep after a long day out. Thankfully they only did it two or three times and then they stopped. Nothing else was ever wrong and we stayed here for almost a month! Simply amazing

Our stay at the beautiful hotel Villa Serena Escalon was wonderful. A delicious breakfast every morning with a choice of 6 dishes. Room was cleaned when we asked it to be and was very clean, with a fridge and ac. The 24 hour reception is very helpful for late arrivals and early morning starts. The hotel is close to the main road where there are lots of restaurants and other shops. You can easily catch a bus from the main road to take you to the historical centre. There is even a pupusa stall at the end of the street for a late night snack. All in all, a great place to stay! 5 out of 5 stars.

There wasn't always hot water, although after hot, busy days, it was not much of a problem. The staff have limited English, but that was not a problem for us. They were still very helpful.

The location of the hotel it is very convenient. The facility needs a little more maintenance and updates, however, it is a reasonable price for the accommodations. It has a little interior garden and a lounge to decompress, which it is very calm and relaxing.

Our room was for two people, however, it was not a king bed as reserved but (2) individual beds. We were in the room next to the little storage area and the breakfast room. The personnel made our sleep in unbearable, they carried their greetings and conversations very loud in the hall next to our foom around: 5:30ish every morning during our stay.

Nice staff, atmosphere and location. The desk is manned 24 hours and they will gladly take your car keys to quickly move cars around in their constricted parking lot, saving you the hassle. The breakfast selections and outdoor eating option made the mornings something to look forward to as you can hear the city’s hustle and bustle as you enjoy your meal. The location puts you close to many excellent restaurants.

The courtyard design of the hotel, while pleasant, beautiful, and relaxing, also acts as an echo chamber which amplifies conversations out in the passageways into your room, which can cause some sleep disturbance issues in the early morning and sometimes at night. Rush hour traffic in the morning and late afternoon can make it a bit difficult to access the hotel at those times. However, none of this should dissuade someone from staying at this excellent hotel.

The place is peacful, on a quiet street next to a very busy one. Great for calling Uber for trips around the city without dealing with traffic. Not close to anything in particular (except Salvador del Mundo), but sort of central. I did one time walk to Terminal de Occidente 20 minutes, as it seemed that time in traffick would be longer. It was great to have a carafe of cold water in the fridge on arrival. Kind and attentive staff. Nice inner courtyard.

The shower was intermittently warm and room temperature, never good pressure. It's great to have pupusas as a breakfast option, but curtido should also be served, it's not the same just with sauce. The sound carries really well between the rooms and from the hall, so good luck with quiet neighbours.
