Was given a nice room with a balcony and sea view. There was a table and chairs to sit and watch the sea. The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Just down the stairs below the room entrance were some tables and chairs where you could sit and watch the volcano which was nice. The hotels close proximity to the docks facilitated any boat trips, whether to other islands or the sunset cruise to watch the volcano.

There was a lot of noise from the traffic and people below in the cafe when the balcony doors were open. But with the doors closed, the noise was contained.

Very clean accommodation, full of character. Very helpful staff. Excellent location. Great breakfast with all you would expect plus some interesting options eg Pavlova, freshly squeezed blood orange juice and more - fantastic.

Reception hours a bit short and didn't really allow for stored luggage for night boat trips before 10pm ferry as it shuts at 8pm, Was closed and waited outside from just after 6am on arrival til they opened. I also waited for a couple of hours before the 9.30pm check-in in a local bar to avoid heavy rain and sheet lightning. There is no waiting room/shelter.

Right next to the ferry. Excellent breakfast. Well located for a hiking excursion to Stromboli.

The hotel is right by the harbour, a very good location to explore the island. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful! The breakfast was excellent, from continental to Italian, the choice was overwhelming with everything tasting great! It was all nice and clean and the beds comfortable. Even though the Vulcano was spitting little sand dust over night and during the day, it was cleaned up straight away. Complimentary water was provided in the fridge every day! What a service on such a small island.

The most excellent hotel in the most exotic island. Close to sea harbour, beach, and the mountain. Exceptionally communicative and cooperative staff. Special thanks to Anna. She was the one who warned us about weather and ferry cancellation and kept contact with us since booking. They helped change dates, they were polite and their breakfast is one of its best....comparable to any 5 or 7 star. Fantastic in every possible way. Best of best is staff.

Fabulous location ideal for dropping off any luggage on arrival without the need to get a taxi (tuc tuc/golf type cart) ) or drag you bag through narrow hot streets! But also great for accessing rest of the island and a short walk to the start of any hikes up Stromboli. The hotel was very happy for us to leave our luggage before and after check in and check out times which made things a lot easier. The room was very comfortable with air con included and there was a very good shower which was well needed after our sunset hike up the volcano. Breakfast was fabulous with a huge variety and quantity of food.

Nothing really although be aware that bars etc seem to close quite early in that part of the town. Not really an issue but worth knowing. Whilst corridors were a bit noisy with doors closing etc in the afternoon this was not a problem at all in the evening or overnight and we had a very peaceful night.

A big hug to the reception staffs Lueia & Emanueld and all the staffs in this hotel. They are really really warm hearted and helpful . Super location with 2mins to the port and 5mins to the city center , clean and air conditioned room 24h hot water and room service . Sea view with double glazed window , quite room . Good location near the port. very good breakfast and nice view of the vulcano. Rooms are clean but everything else correspond with 3 stars. So it is overpriced (but in Stromboli is everything more expensive then in Sicily).

We ordered room with vulcano view and we got sea view but they fixed it immediately. The door from the room is sealing (if you open the window the door is banging in the wind), very poor hairdrayer, and in bathroom there is only overhead shower.

Very practical location just where the ferry arrive. Room was large and beds were comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of options and on the last day, even though it starts at 8:00, because we had a ferry at 7:15 they offered earlier breakfast. Super handy!

Wirh the windows opened the rooms facing the beach were loud. But with the windows closed you couldnt hear a thing.

Ossidiana is a great place to stay at Stromboli, rooms are very comfortable, views on the sea and on the volcano depending on rooms are magnificent, staff is really kind and helpful and the breakfast buffet a real treat. At that the proximity to the hydrofoil boarding quay is so convenient, especially for early boarding. A must stay!
